The Role 

We are seeking an experienced and commercially focused Demand and Supply Planning Manager to lead the planning and inventory management function across our product portfolio. 

Based in Macquarie Park, NSW and reporting into the Supply Chain Manager, this role is responsible for ensuring product availability while balancing inventory investment, supply continuity, freight costs, and customer service objectives. Working closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Customer Service, Logistics, and global supply partners, you will lead demand forecasting, supply planning, replenishment, and inventory optimisation activities that directly support business performance and customer outcomes.

Key responsibilities 

• Lead the demand forecasting process across multiple product portfolios.  

• Develop, maintain, and continuously improve demand forecasts using historical sales data, market intelligence, customer trends, and commercial inputs.  

• Facilitate regular demand review meetings with Sales, Marketing, and Finance stakeholders.  

• Monitor forecast accuracy and implement initiatives to improve forecasting performance.  

• Identify and communicate supply chain risks, demand fluctuations, and opportunities to key stakeholders.  

• Support business planning activities through the provision of forecasting analysis and insights 

• Develop and maintain supply plans that align with forecasted demand and business requirements.  

• Establish, monitor, and optimise MRP parameters including safety stock levels, lead times, reorder points, and planning settings.  

• Ensure product availability while balancing inventory investment and working capital objectives. 

• Create and manage purchase orders within SAP and other business systems.  

• Monitor open purchase orders and proactively follow up on supplier commitments to ensure timely delivery. 

 

What we’re looking for: 

You are an analytical and proactive supply chain professional who enjoys translating data into actionable insights. You have experience balancing inventory and service objectives, managing supply challenges, and building strong stakeholder relationships across complex business environments. 

In addition, you will have:  

• Minimum 3 years' experience in demand planning, supply planning, inventory planning, or supply chain management.  

• Experience working with ERP systems, preferably SAP.  

• Demonstrated experience managing forecasting, replenishment, and inventory planning processes.  

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.  

• Advanced planning, prioritisation, and organisational capabilities.  

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.  

• High attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy.
