The Position

Deja tu Huella - Healthcare Solutions intern

What do we offer?

By joining the 'Deja tu huella' program, you will have the opportunity to take on the PJP (Patient Journey Partner) role within the Northeast ecosystem. This is a unique opportunity, as it is a position exclusive to Roche. It is a hybrid role that bridges the gap between the commercial focus and the MSL (Medical Scientific Liaison) perspective. 11 months of internships at Roche where you will participate in challenging projects and benefit from pioneering postgraduate training in the market about the pharmaceutical industry. You will have the opportunity to get on the job training by working on key projects with your designated department from Monday to Thursday and attend in person postgraduate classes at the university on Friday.

Our main location is Barcelona, Office attendance is expected (with some flexbility) to enjoy the connection to our colleagues, network and get exposure. Last but not least, you will have mentorship by a Roche tutor who will give you continuous feedback to develop your professional skills. The mentors for the program are Roche's senior and experienced young talent development professionals.

What are the main responsibilities of the intern?

The intern will work closely with the PJP (Hybrid commercial role and medical department, being the primary point of contact with the doctor) on a daily basis with the goal of learning and understanding their role. As part of this experience, the intern will have the opportunity to accompany the PJP on visits to healthcare professionals, work hand-in-hand with HSPs (Role responsible for contact with health administrations and health managers in hospitals), collaborate in strategic meetings, and receive training on pathology, among other key learning opportunities

So the purpose of this internship is to work closely with the teams in the field that support our client ecosystem and interact with them in their day to day to serve patients’ needs. This will allow a complete understanding on how the health care system operates and what are the main stakeholders that influence the day to day activities of our commercial and access teams on field. With your support we will create reports and insights to share with cross functional teams and improve our interactions and relationships.

What would be your main responsibilities as an intern?

In this highly regulated and complex industry, the intern gains exposure to real-world challenges and opportunities across areas such as ecosystem, market access, regulatory. By facilitating access to cross-functional teams and relevant projects to develop a 360-degree view of the pharmaceutical ecosystem. Through this guidance, the intern can connect academic knowledge to practical applications, develop a deeper understanding of patient-centric strategies, and recognize the role of innovation and compliance in delivering healthcare solutions.

What are we looking for in this position?

• Recent graduates or university students who will obtain their degree in the summer, in the areas of life sciences.

• Proactivity and ability to work independently but also in multidisciplinary teams. We want curious candidates that are willing to learn and grow by challenging the status quo.

• We are looking for flexible talents that adapt to changes and are willing to collaborate with teams in a network organization.

• Advanced level of communication in English and Spanish. Desirable to have international experience as a student or working abroad.

• Desirable to have digital Knowledge.

• Passion for improving the lives of patients and motivation to give the best of yourself in an innovative and challenging environment.

• Commitment to dedicate yourself full time to the program from September 2026 to August 2027.

For international students, have a valid NIE or work permit in Spain.
