Job Description
Act as the DPDAI leader for the META Cluster, ensuring effective implementation of Novartis’ global Data Privacy & AI program at country level
Partner closely with business and functional stakeholders to advise on data privacy and AI regulatory requirements and support responsible use of data
Translate global DPDAI policies and standards into practical local guidance, including consent management, secondary use of personal data, secure data destruction and cross‑border data transfers
Serve as the first point of contact for the business on interpretation and application of group‑wide DPDAI policies, procedures and guidelines
Identify, assess and address emerging data privacy and AI legislation, supporting timely compliance adaptations across countries
Lead the DPDAI risk management strategy for the META Cluster, identifying risks requiring senior management attention and escalating through established governance channels
Maintain and oversee data privacy notices, procedures and response processes (e.g. access requests, complaints) in line with global standards
Document and monitor risks and controls in OneTrust and other risk management frameworks, supporting timely remediation by the business
Law degree or business degree with executive education in Data Privacy
Deep knowledge of global data privacy and AI regulatory regimes
Hands‑on experience with data privacy / AI compliance programs and frameworks
Proven ability to operate in complex, multi‑country regulatory environments
Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across business and functional teams
Fluent in English and Turkish
Experience in an international law firm or legal department of an international company
Experience within the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector
