The Position

As the Clinical Value Partner, you are responsible for driving the clinical promotion and growth  of high medical value (HMV) products within a specified disease area, closely aligning with the business direction and strategy. You will be responsible for leading clinical promotion and enable patient access to HMV products across patient journeys, supporting internal teams with clinical insights, and developing engagement  with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs). 

You demonstrate personal purpose around improving the healthcare ecosystem thinking from an enterprise level, beyond boundaries and borders, to bring the best possible outcomes to the health environment; creating better health outcomes for more patients faster, and by bringing a strong entrepreneurial mentality with outstanding partnering capabilities. 

Key areas of responsibility include:

  • Clinical Promotion -  Leading the clinical promotion of HMV products, enabling patient access across journeys, and aligning activities with business strategy using insights into clinician prescribing habits and the competitive landscape.

  • Disease and Market Expertise - Acting as the disease expert to develop the portfolio ecosystem, enhance the patient journey, and leverage in-depth knowledge of the market landscape related to patient experiences.

  • Partnership and Business Development -  Partnering with internal teams (customer partner and integrated solutions) to achieve HMV targets, provide clinical insights, and enhance Roche’s competitive edge. This also involves venturing into innovative business models for business sustainability.

  • KOL Engagement and KOL Building Developing and implementing a Key Opinion Leader (KOL) engagement framework (covering awareness, acceptance, adoption, and advocacy) and building alliances with stakeholders like physicians, payers, and associations to drive HMV product utilization.

  • Education and Clinical Marketing - Planning and conducting clinical marketing initiatives, such as Continuing Medical Education (CME) and symposia, to increase clinical awareness and knowledge among healthcare professionals. Additionally, conducting training programs for internal teams on the clinical benefits and applications of HMV products.

  • Competitive Analysis - Actively gathering and analyzing competitive information, then providing feedback to internal teams (e.g., customer partner, integrated solutions, and access & policy team) to inform actionable insights and strategies.

Any other tasks or projects as assigned from time to time


 

Who you are

  • Required Education and Experience: Possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Health/Biomedical/Science/Pharmacy or equivalent, along with required experience in clinical, medical, and laboratory disciplines. You must have at least 2 years of diverse healthcare experience in relevant disease states or clinical practice (e.g., Oncology, Cardiology).

  • Strategic and Business Acumen: Demonstrate an entrepreneurial mindset, strong business acumen, and a proven ability to execute strategies, track results, and drive for results while managing ambiguity.

  • Core Professional Skills: Possess strong analytical, problem-solving, creative thinking, and time management skills. Additionally, you need meticulous attention to detail and effective communication skills.

  • Collaboration and Teamwork: You are a team player with excellent team working skills and a strong ability to thrive and collaborate in a cross-functional and matrix environment. You must be adaptable to changing environments, with coaching and mentoring experience being preferable.

  • Clinical and Market Knowledge: You must possess detailed technical/clinical knowledge of the disease portfolio and patient journey. A solid knowledge of the healthcare marketplace in Malaysia and Brunei is required, and expert medical/clinical knowledge is desirable.
