Clinical Lab Associate I - Specimen Intake

Tempus&#39; proprietary platform connects an entire ecosystem of real-world evidence to deliver real-time, actionable insights to physicians, providing critical information about the right treatments for the right patients, at the right time.</span></span></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p></p><p>We are looking for a <b>Clinical Lab Associate</b> who will be responsible for Accessioning samples into our Laboratory Information Management System.</p><p></p><p><b>Shift: </b>Tuesday-Saturday (9:00am-5:30pm)</p><p></p><p><b>Duties and Responsibilities:</b></p><p>● Responsible for package receipt, unpacking, and specimen intake.</p><p>● Responsible for initial sample quality and requirement review.</p><p>● Responsible for order creation/entry, modifying existing orders, and specimen accessioning.</p><p>● Responsible for scanning, uploading, and storing patient documents.</p><p>● Build and maintain effective relationships with other laboratory employees and the customer</p><p>success team.</p><p></p><p><b>Preferred Qualifications:</b></p><p></p><p>● High School Diploma or equivalent required.</p><p>● Bachelor’s degree in biology or related field preferred.</p><p>● Computer proficiency and strong data entry skills with knowledge of standard software, office</p><p>equipment, and technology.</p><p>● Highly organized and systematic, superb attention to detail, and ability to complete tasks with a</p><p>high degree of accuracy.</p><p>● Shows initiative and ability to work as part of a high-level team while working independently on</p><p>mission-critical tasks.</p><p>● Proven ability to follow complex directions, learn new skills quickly and adapt to new processes</p><p>smoothly.</p><p>● Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.</p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left">We are an equal opportunity employer.
