China Scientific Partnership Manager

As China Scientific Partnership Manager, you are accountable for management and execution of Medical Information, Publications and Medical Excellence.

Medical Information: the generation of standard and customized medical information content to fulfill unsolicited Medical Information requests from healthcare professionals (HCPs) and non-HCPs for assigned product(s). He/She also responds to escalated inquiries, leads projects, and serves as the local Med Info lead collaborating with Global Medical Information (GMI). This role has local oversight of Medical Information Quality and Compliance and provides valuable, strategic Medical Information to external customers in support of Biogen marketed and pipeline products.

Publications and Scientific Communications: to develop integrated publications plan and manage the process to ensure abstracts, manuscripts and other forms of publications can be generated and published at appropriate occasions to increase Biogen scientific image and data exposure. He/She serves as the local contact collaborating with global Publications and Scientific Communications team.

Medical Excellence: Monitor and track central/field Medical performances in according to Medical performance standards and to discover gaps for development or to improve to increase Medical efficiencies and impacts

Responsibilities:

• Establish medical information plan with each disease/product medical manager and manage the pathway for unsolicited medical inquiries along with GMI and regional contact center
• Collaborate with GMI on the execution of the Quality Monitoring for the Regional Contact Center and related Medical Information activities, such as  Standard Response Documents (SRD) development/localization from FAQs and field insights and to share cross-functionally
• Initiate and lead medical innovative projects and leverage multi-channel resources and digital technologies to support KMEs for the therapeutic choice understandings and patient identification
• Staff the medical information booth at congresses
• Monitor and track central/field Medical performances in according to Medical performance standards and to discover gaps for development or to improve to increase Medical efficiencies and impacts
• Regular performance reports for team performance management tracking
• Perform duties as assigned based on business needs and alignment with local process and regulations for responding to unsolicited questions, complete annual update, which can address more than 80% KMEs concerns
• End-to-end publication process coordination between global and local

Qualifications:

• Relevant degrees, Associate degree or above is preferred
• Understanding of Medical Information, publication process, and strong Medical Excellence experience
• Innovative attitude is required
• Good team player, fits in the environment with international, diverse, teamwork culture
• Strong customer orientation
• Understanding of and adherence to regulatory policies governing scientific interactions with physicians and patients
• Attention to detail with ability to analyze data
• Solid decision-making and problem solving skills
• Prior industry experience in a post-marketing setting preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese is required
