<p style="text-align:left"><span><i><b>To apply to a Varex Imaging position, please create an account and sign-in.</b></i></span></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left"><span><b>CURRENT VAREX IMAGING EMPLOYEES: </b>Please apply by logging into your internal <u><span class="emphasis-3">Workday Account</span></u>.</span></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><h2>Summary</h2>• Assemble and process product, parts, and assemblies using hand tools, customized tooling, and semi-automated equipment including spot welders • Follows written process and assembly documentation. • Inspect and test parts, assemblies and product using precision measuring and testing equipment. • Adjust process within defined ranges based on measured results. • Adhere to all safety requirements. • Maintain a clean work area. • May conduct training of other production operators regarding on job skills and use of production/process documentation. • May perform basic preventative maintenance and assists in trouble shooting or preparing standard production equipment for maintenance. • May assist in maintaining and updating documented production/process instructions • Gather and input production and process data. • Maintain supply and flow of material through the area.<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><h2>Job Description</h2><p><span>Recommended Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities • Works under minimum supervision. • Strong team skills and facilitation skills. • Working knowledge of material logistics. • Working knowledge of several business systems/concepts within the work area such as Flow, Statistical Process Control, Process Documentation, Quality and/or Cost Improvement. • Problem solving and decision-making skills. • Apply acquired job skills and company policies and procedures to complete assigned tasks. • Has substantial understanding of the job and applies knowledge and skills to complete a wide range of tasks.</span></p><p>• Work on assignments that are moderately difficult, requiring judgment in resolving issues or in making recommendations. • Normally receive little instruction on day to- day work, general instructions on newly introduced assignments. • Basic Soldering or Welding Experience</p><p>· Basic cleanroom experience and knowledge</p><p>· Experience using microscopes and small hand tools</p><p></p><p>Recommended Education and Experience • Associate’s degree or equivalent • 2&#43; years of experience. • Proficient in utilizing business tools such as: E-mail, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. • Experience with SAP or equivalent ERP product and productivity software</p><p>Work Environment and Physical Requirements • Cleanroom manufacturing environment. • Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs.</p><p>· Must be able to wear gloves and other Protective clothing and equipment for long periods of time</p><p></p><p>Employee must be able to meet the following requirements with or without an accommodation.</p><ul><li>S<i>edentary </i>work that will <i>occasionally </i>require employee to lift/move up to 20 lbs. and<i> occasionally </i>lift more than 20 lbs. to greater than 30 lbs.</li><li>Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or moving heavy equipment and/or supplies <i>occasionally. </i></li><li>Reaching <i>above and below</i> the shoulder <i>occasionally</i>.</li><li>Above-average agility and dexterity with the ability to hold, grasp and manipulate small parts and use hand and power tools <i>Constantly</i>.</li><li>Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and handle physical exertion, such as long periods of standing, walking, bending, crouching, stretching, reaching, repetitive motion, or similar activities.</li><li>Work environments includes: <i>exposure to chemicals, electrical current, proximity to moving mechanical parts, repetitive hand motion, and fumes.</i></li><li><i>Travel to 1 sites.
