The Associate Marketing Manager is responsible for supporting the planning and execution of strategic and tactical marketing initiatives aimed at driving growth of PTC’s rare disease portfolio. Working in close collaboration with cross-functional teams such as Medical Affairs, Commercial, and Regulatory Affairs, this role requires strong cross-functional integration to ensure strategic alignment and excellence in execution.

Reporting to the Sr. Marketing Manager, the professional will contribute to translating scientific insights into impactful field initiatives, supporting the development of promotional materials, communication strategies (including social media), and the implementation of campaigns and tactical activities.

Key responsibilities also include supporting the execution of local events and strategic congresses, managing vendors and contracts, and overseeing budget tracking and financial control of marketing activities.

The role requires a collaborative, agile, and results-driven profile, with the ability to operate effectively in dynamic and complex environments. Prior experience in pharmaceutical marketing, particularly in rare diseases, is considered a strong asset.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Support the planning and execution of marketing strategies, adapting global directions to the local market based on insights and field needs.

  • Coordinate the development and approval of multi-channel promotional materials, ensuring message consistency and regulatory compliance.

  • Plan and execute local events, mini-meetings, and participation in key congresses, including vendor management, logistics, and audience experience.

  • Identify opportunities in congresses and partnerships with medical societies to maximize engagement and impact.

  • Develop and implement digital initiatives, including social media and disease awareness campaigns, tracking performance and generating insights.

  • Manage vendors and contracts, ensuring smooth administrative processes and compliance with internal policies.

  • Support marketing budget tracking and contribute to efficient resource allocation.

  • Partner with the field force to ensure alignment on messaging and availability of strategic materials.

  • Contribute to operational excellence, including material management and internal workflows.

  • Monitor performance and support data-driven decision-making.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, Pharmacy, Biomedical Sciences, or related fields.

  • A postgraduate degree or MBA in healthcare is a plus.

  • Must have previous experience in marketing within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.

  • Experience with complex products or rare diseases is a strong advantage.

  • Advanced English proficiency (oral and written)

  • Basic Spanish is considered a plus.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.

  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional, matrix environment with diverse stakeholders.

  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.

  • Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong interpersonal abilities.

  • Proactive, well-organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously.

  • Adaptability and resilience to thrive in dynamic and fast-paced environments.
