Key Responsibilities:

Process Optimization & Excellence:

o    Lead the assessment, redesign, and optimization of sourcing and cat egory management processes.

o    Implement best practices, standardization, and automation to drive efficiency and compliance.

o    Develop and maintain process documentation, SOPs, and training materials.

Digital Transformation & Analytics:

o    Partner with IT and platform owners to deploy and enhance digital sourcing tools and analytics platforms.

o    Leverage data and advanced analytics to identify improvement opportunities and inform strategic decisions.

o    Champion automation and digital workflows to streamline sourcing and category management.

Performance Management:

o    Define and track KPIs for process performance, user experience, and adoption.

o    Analyze performance data and provide actionable insights to the Sr Director and leadership team.

o    Drive accountability for continuous improvement and measurable outcomes.

Innovation & External Benchmarking:

o    Proactively seek out and introduce innovative solutions, technologies, and best practices.

o    Maintain an active external presence—participate in industry forums, conferences, and professional networks.

o    Benchmark processes against industry leaders to ensure the organization remains competitive.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

o    Engage with stakeholders across procurement, IT, finance, legal, and business units to ensure seamless process integration.

o    Facilitate forums for alignment, decision-making, and best practice sharing.

Change Management & Stakeholder Engagement:

o    Develop and execute change management strategies to drive adoption of new processes and tools.

o    Communicate process changes effectively and support global training initiatives.

o    Gather and incorporate stakeholder feedback to enhance process outcomes.

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree or MBA preferred.

• 10+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or process transformation.

• Proven track record in process optimization, digital enablement, and performance management.

• Strong knowledge of sourcing and category management workflows, compliance, and automation.

• Experience implementing digital procurement platforms and analytics tools.

• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills in a global, matrixed environment.

On-site Protocol

BMS has an occupancy structure that determines where an employee is required to conduct their work. This structure includes site-essential, site-by-design, field-based and remote-by-design jobs. The occupancy type that you are assigned is determined by the nature and responsibilities of your role:

Site-essential roles require 100% of shifts onsite at your assigned facility. Site-by-design roles may be eligible for a hybrid work model with at least 50% onsite at your assigned facility. For these roles, onsite presence is considered an essential job function and is critical to collaboration, innovation, productivity, and a positive Company culture. For field-based and remote-by-design roles the ability to physically travel to visit customers, patients or business partners and to attend meetings on behalf of BMS as directed is an essential job function.
