Operating within a small‑cap, public company environment, this role blends strategic financial planning with operational execution. The Assistant Treasurer must be highly analytical, detail‑oriented, and capable of operating independently within a lean finance organization. This role directly impacts liquidity, capital allocation decisions, debt compliance, and financial risk management, while ensuring strong internal controls and adherence to public company reporting and compliance requirements.<h2>Job Description</h2>1. Liquidity & Cash Flow Management (High Ownership)<ul><li>Lead daily global cash positioning and short-term liquidity management.</li><li>Develop, maintain, and enhance 13-week and long-range cash flow forecasts.</li><li>Optimize working capital in partnership with FP&A, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Operations.</li><li>Manage investment of excess cash in accordance with Board approved investment policies.</li></ul>2. Debt & Credit Facility Management<ul><li>Manage revolving credit facilities, term loans, and related treasury agreements.</li><li>Monitor covenant compliance and prepare lender reporting packages.</li><li>Coordinate with lenders on borrowings, repayments, amendments, and waivers.</li><li>Support refinancing activities and capital raise initiatives as required.</li></ul>3. Capital Markets & Strategic Finance Support<ul><li>Assist the CFO and Treasurer in evaluating capital structure alternatives, including debt, equity, and hybrid instruments.</li><li>Support share repurchase programs, dividend initiatives, or other capital return strategies, as applicable.</li><li>Prepare liquidity, debt, and treasury related disclosures for Forms 10 Q and 10 K.</li><li>Support investor, lender, and rating agency materials as required.</li></ul>4. Treasury Operations & Controls<ul><li>Oversee global bank account structures and cash management processes.</li><li>Manage payment approval workflows and fraud prevention controls.</li><li>Maintain SOX compliant treasury processes, documentation, and internal controls.</li><li>Partner closely with Accounting on debt accounting, interest accruals, hedge accounting, and disclosures.</li><li>Lead treasury related coordination for internal and external audits.</li></ul>5. Risk Management<ul><li>Monitor and assess interest rate and foreign exchange exposures.</li><li>Execute hedging strategies, where applicable, in alignment with approved risk management policies.</li><li>Manage enterprise insurance programs in partnership with Legal and Risk Management (often bundled within treasury in small cap environments).</li></ul>6.
