Assign the different workers in his team with production line tasks
Evaluates the different projects and incoming orders to properly set up the daily production line
Monitors productivity and quality on the line to optimize the production
Identify and resolve production line problems in a timely manner
Train and supervise new production line workers
Collaborates with the other departments on the assembly line to ensure that modules are completed in time
Maintains a safe, clean, and operational environment at all times
Complies with company policies and regulations and provides guidance to the workers accordingly
Motivates and encourages the employees in their daily tasks
Keeps a healthy communication between the production supervisor and the workers as a middleman
Read engineering drawings and blueprints to determine material requirements and task sequences
Arrange and examine stocks of sheet metal or parts to be processed to ensure that specifications are met
Other responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma
Experience: Relevant experience as an Assembler performing various tasks in a manufacturing environment. Experience in HVAC or with sheet metal is an asset.
Computer Skills: None required
Certificates & Licenses: None required
Read and interpret engineering drawings accurately.
Execute work with precision, thoroughness, and attention to detail.
Prior experience in a supervisory role is considered an asset.
Demonstrate strong knowledge of product specifications and industry standards.
Proactively identify issues and implement effective solutions.
Show versatility, autonomy, and a strong sense of responsibility.
Contribute as a collaborative and dependable team member.
Exhibit strong leadership and team guidance skills.
Assess personal strengths and areas for improvement.
Actively pursue training and development opportunities.
Share knowledge and expertise to support team performance.
Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
