The Accounting Executive plays a critical role in Expense and Vendor Management, driving compliance,Key Responsibilities / Functions: Expense Management Review employee expense reimbursement claims. Validate submissions against defined policies (SPI). Route validated claims for approval per the authority matrix. Flag exceptions for business unit management review and support final determinations. Conduct monthly reviews to identify errors, incomplete documentation, or required corrections. Provide structured feedback to business units to drive continuous improvement.
Vendor Management Oversee vendor onboarding, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Validate vendor documentation (contracts, tax details, certifications) before activation. Maintain accurate vendor master data in ERP systems. Monitor vendor performance and compliance with service-level agreements (SLAs). Coordinate with business units to resolve vendor disputes, delays, or compliance issues. Support risk mitigation by identifying high-risk vendors and implementing backup coverage plans. Facilitate periodic vendor audits and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
Core Competencies Strong knowledge of expense reimbursement policies and compliance frameworks. Vendor onboarding and master data management expertise. Analytical skills to identify discrepancies and escalate appropriately. Clear communication and stakeholder management skills. Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and reporting tools (Excel, Power BI). Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
