Drug data last refreshed Yesterday
INDOCIN (indomethacin) is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that works by inhibiting cyclooxygenase enzymes to reduce inflammation and pain. It is used to treat diverse conditions including patent ductus arteriosus in neonates, gout, ankylosing spondylitis, acute pancreatitis, and musculoskeletal inflammation. The oral capsule formulation has been a mainstay therapy since FDA approval in 1965.
As a mature, near-LOE product with minimal linked job openings, roles are primarily maintenance-focused rather than growth-oriented; team size and investment are likely declining.

Working on INDOCIN offers minimal career acceleration given the zero linked job count, mature lifecycle stage, and competitive displacement by superior biologics. This is a maintenance role suited to professionals managing legacy portfolios rather than building breakthrough products or expanding market share.
