GENTAMICIN SULFATE (gentamicin) by Hikma is clinical pharmacology after intramuscular (im) administration of gentamicin sulfate, peak serum concentrations usually occur between 30 and 60 minutes and serum levels are measurable for six to eight hours. Approved for the treatment of serious infections caused by susceptible strains of the following microorganisms: pseudomonas aeruginosa, proteus species (indole-positive, indole-negative) and 6 more indications. First approved in 1980.
