CODRIX (acetaminophen; codeine phosphate) by Teva is clinical pharmacology this product combines the analgesic effects of a centrally acting analgesic, codeine, with the peripherally acting analgesics, acetaminophen. Approved for mild to moderate pain, where treatment with an opioid is appropriate, for which alternative treatments are inadequate. First approved in 2003.
