CARVEDILOL PHOSPHATE (carvedilol phosphate) by PharmaIN is beta-adrenoreceptor blocking activity is present in the s(–) enantiomer and alpha 1 -adrenergic blocking activity is present in both r(+) and s(–) enantiomers at equal potency. Approved for mild-to-severe chronic heart failure of ischemic, cardiomyopathic origin, usually in addition to diuretics and 13 more indications. First approved in 2017.
