In this role, you would be responsible for the safe, accurate, and efficient packaging operation of Toxicology PRT warehouse standards and inventory. The main objective is to lower operating costs through effectively utilizing the ERP during the item picking process, increase productivity by following working instructions, zero picking errors, and communicate.Shift:Monday - Friday8:00 am - 4:30 pmWhat You’ll Work On<ul><li>Accurately pick items by Lot # and expiration date as directed by the picking sheets.</li><li>Use a company-issued stamp after picking.</li><li>Read and understand all notes on picking sheets.</li><li>Assist team members with picking, staging, loading, unloading, rotation, and storage of products.</li><li>Operate a manual rolling cart to move products throughout the warehouse.</li><li>Maintain warehouse cleanliness by sweeping floors, wiping spills, and organizing products.</li><li>Follow and abide by all company safety rules.</li><li>Record all damage per company policy and handle damage/dents as they occur.</li><li>Ensure proper handling of picking sheets and place them on the correct cartons.</li><li>Keep the floor space clean while picking.</li><li>Conduct daily housekeeping assignments as directed by warehouse management.</li><li>Help prepare for end-of-year physical inventory.</li><li>Identify inefficiencies in warehouse operations and make recommendations.</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li></ul>Required Qualifications<ul><li>High School Diploma or equivalent.</li><li>Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>Basic math skills and the ability to read labels/pick sheets.</li><li>Ability to follow work instructions and communicate discrepancies.</li><li>Forklift certification or willingness to become certified (company-provided).</li><li>Proficiency in operating a rolling pushcart, electric forklift, and manual pallet jack.</li></ul><a href="https://www.jobs.abbott/us/en" target="_blank">Apply Now</a>Learn more about our health and wellness benefits, which provide the security to help you and your family live full lives: <a href="http://www.abbottbenefits.com/pages/candidate.aspx" target="_blank">www.abbottbenefits.com</a>Follow your career aspirations to Abbott for diverse opportunities with a company that can help you build your future and live your best life.
