Provides materials, equipment, and supplies by directing receiving, warehousing, and distribution services, supervising staff.</p><p></p><p><b><span>What a typical day looks like:</span></b></p><ul><li>Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.</li><li>In charge of inventory control in Warehouse.</li><li>Leadership of warehouse supervisors in charge.</li><li>Generation of new processes for warehouse logistics.</li><li>Movements of materials between external warehouses.</li><li>Application of CAR tools, 8D&#39;s, Pareto diagrams, etc.</li><li>Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system.</li><li>Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.</li><li>Achieves financial objectives by preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.</li><li>Monitors volume of business and determines appropriate work schedule.</li><li>Sets productivity and establishes necessary controls to ensure objectives are met.</li><li>Monitors condition and maintenance of operating / material handling equipment.</li><li>Constantly monitors the efficient handling of shipments and receipts to create an error free culture.</li><li>Reviews the loading and unloading schedules to maximize efficiencies and reduce expenses.</li><li>Coordinate floor cycle counts, physical inventory and reconciling records.</li><li>Generation of metrics for correct execution of methods and processes.</li><li>Control of transport routes.</li><li>Control of use and maintenance of forklifts.</li></ul><p></p><p><b><span>The experience we’re looking to add to our team:</span></b></p><ul><li>Bachelor´s Degree in Administration or related.</li><li>Experience in similar positions.</li><li>Intermediate English.</li><li>Advanced Excel skills for inventory control and operational reporting.</li><li>Strong command and use of tools for warehouse operations execution aligned with SSYMA.</li><li>Ability to oversee warehouse operations, including receiving, assorting, and efficiently organizing materials.</li><li>Proficiency in cyclical counting and understanding the impact of poor inventory management processes.</li><li>Familiarity with 5S methodologies, promoting continuous improvement and maintaining order and cleanliness in the warehouse.</li><li>Knowledge of ERP system (SAP, Baan or similar).</li><li>Demonstrates mastery of functional knowledge in relation to other functions and a complete understanding of the function and those of related businesses.</li><li>Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.</li><li>Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables</li></ul><p></p><p><b><span>What you’ll receive for the great work you provide: </span></b></p><ul><li>Competitive Salary</li><li>Life &amp; Medical insurance</li><li>Christmas Bonus</li><li>Food Coupons</li><li>Saving Fund.</li><li>Life Insurance</li></ul><p>AU51</p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><h2></h2><h2>Job Category</h2>Global Procurement &amp; Supply Chain<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left"><span>Required Skills:</span></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left">Optional Skills:</p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p><span>Flex is an Equal Opportunity Employer and employment selection decisions are based on merit, qualifications, and abilities.
