This role plans, implements, and monitors the day-to-day warehouse operations to ensure efficient and effective receipt, storage, and inventory of materials for manufacturing projects.</span></p><p></p><p><b><span>What a typical day looks like:</span></b></p><ul><li><span>Develops a department strategic vision and Annual Goals to get to that level</span></li><li><span>Develops a department capacity and staffing plan to support operational and strategic goals</span></li><li><span>Hires and trains staff in assigned department.</span></li><li><span>Oversees the daily workflow and schedules of the department.</span></li><li><span>Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.</span></li><li><span>Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.</span></li><li><span>Engages in all leadership trainings, meetings, and initiatives.</span></li><li><span>Oversees the day-to-day activities of the warehouse including inventory control, shipping, receiving, and materials storage.</span></li><li><span>Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and execution of warehouse management initiatives.</span></li><li><span>Manage all materials inside Inventory controlled areas, tool crib and floor consumable stock bins</span></li><li><span>Monitors warehouse performance to evaluate operations related to inventory integrity, shipping and receiving, cycle counts, and material storage.</span></li><li><span>Develop and implement warehouse strategies to ensure efficient and effective management of incoming and outgoing materials, inventory control processes, and inventory accuracy.</span></li><li><span>Develop warehouse operations improvements by analyzing process workflow, staff allocation, space, and equipment.</span></li><li><span>Develop plan to organize the warehouse bins and locations and pick process to optimize efficiency and space utilization</span></li><li><span>Reviews inventory of product in warehouse against anticipated delivery and shipping schedules to minimize material handling and maximize space and efficiency.</span></li><li><span>Make suggestions for improvement to inventory and receiving processes; update work instructions as needed.</span></li><li><span>Performs write-offs on damaged or obsolete inventory to reflect accurate value of inventory.</span></li><li><span>Establishes procedures for conducting and valuing year-end physical inventory.</span></li><li><span>Presents monthly and quarterly results for strategic and operational goals</span></li><li><span>Approve cycle counts and receiving reversal</span></li><li><span>Performs other related duties as assigned.</span></li></ul><p></p><p><b>The experience we’re looking to add to our team:</b></p><ul><li><span>Strong knowledge of warehouse related Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)</span></li><li><span>Comprehensive understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and production planning.</span></li><li><span>Prior experience with WMS and other ERP as part of user or implementation team</span></li><li><span>Strong decision making and problem-solving skills.</span></li><li><span>Excellent organizational and planning skills.</span></li><li><span>Excellent verbal and written communication skills.</span></li><li><span>Excellent interpersonal skills and the proven ability to work well with all levels of management and staff.</span></li><li><span>Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to train, motivate, and lead a high-performing team.</span></li><li><span>Proficient with inventory reporting systems.</span></li><li><span>Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.</span></li></ul><p></p><p><b><span>Experience/Education:</span></b></p><ul><li><span>Bachelors degree in Business Administration or related field required;
