Coordinating logistics, updating the warehouse management system, auditing inventory, streamlining shipping office processes and procedures, auditing inventory, and assisting with supervising warehouse staff.<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p><b><u>Location:</u></b></p><p></p><div><div><div><b>Hamilton, IN</b></div></div></div><p><b><u>Job Responsibilities</u></b>:</p><p></p><ul><li>Manages the daily intake and processing of shipping and receiving schedules, including dispatching trucks.</li><li>Categorizes inventory and completes inventory tracking</li><li>Maintains accurate records.</li><li>Coordinates with sales and customer service to process orders, invoices, and packing lists.</li><li>Monitors productivity reports and other documentation.</li><li>Collaborates with the customer service team to resolve any shipping issues.</li><li>Collaborates with the Warehouse Supervisor and other associates.</li><li>Assists operations with fulfillment and quality control.</li><li>Assign tasks and work orders to traffic clerks and inventory control coordinators.</li><li>Assists Warehouse Supervisor with assigning tasks to warehouse staff. </li><li>Assist the Warehouse Supervisor in enforcing company policies and safety procedures, such as Good Manufacturing Practices.</li><li>Reviews open and closed sales orders and invoices.</li><li>Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.</li><li>Prepare shipping documents and labels.</li><li>Escalates issues to managers when necessary.</li><li>Ensures warehouse is clean, organized, and safe at all times.</li><li>Uses warehouse management systems.</li><li>Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.</li><li>Adheres to good manufacturing practices.</li></ul><p></p><p></p><p><b><u>Requirements</u></b><b>:  </b></p><p></p><ul><li>Bachelor&#39;s degree in Logistics.  Master’s degree preferred.</li><li>5&#43; years of previous warehouse and/or logistics experience.</li><li>Proficiency in MS Office and warehouse management software.</li><li>Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.</li><li>Excellent attention to detail.</li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills.</li></ul><p></p><p></p><p><b><u>Work Environment</u></b><b>:</b>   This position operates in an office environment and on a production floor.  An individual in the position routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, photocopiers, and phones.</p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left"><span>Following receipt of a conditional offer of employment, <span>candidates will be required to complete additional job-related screening processes</span> as permitted or required by applicable law</span>.</p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left">We are an equal opportunity employer, and all applicants will be considered for employment without attention to their membership in any protected class.
