<p style="text-align:left"><u><b>Job Description:</b></u></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p>The VP, Strategy will own the enterprise-wide strategy development and play a key leadership role in shaping and executing the company’s long-term strategic vision. This individual will work closely with the executive team and other functional leaders to identify, design, evaluate, and prioritize strategic initiatives aimed at driving business growth and optimizing shareholder value. The VP, Strategy will be responsible for leading strategic planning processes, initiating strategic initiatives to increase shareholder value and providing actionable insights to guide decision-making across all levels of the organization. The VP, Strategy will also take a leading role in preparing materials for board meetings, including executive presentations and strategic discussions. This role requires a deep understanding of the biotech landscape, strong analytical and project management capabilities, and expertise in managing executive and board-level communication and prioritization.</p><p>This role reports directly to the Chief Business and Strategy Officer and will work regularly with the C-suite and interact with the board.</p><p>This is a remote position (US east coast based preferred).<br /> </p><p><b>Key Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li><b>Enterprise strategy:</b> Lead long-range strategic planning and scenario modeling. Define enterprise value creation roadmap. Translate scientific, clinical, and commercial insights into strategy </li></ul><ul><li><b>Cross functional Leadership & Execution</b>: Drive cross-functional strategic initiatives, balancing long and short-term priorities, leveraging market research and competitive analysis. Collaborate with all departments such as R&D, commercial, regulatory, and finance to ensure a holistic assessment of options and that strategic initiatives are aligned with operational capabilities and financial targets. Deliver actionable insights to senior leadership for decision-making</li></ul><ul><li><b>Portfolio and external growth strategy</b>: Lead cross-functional evaluation of indication expansion, lifecycle planning. Evaluate options for capital allocation and trade-offs. Partner with BD on strategic options for pipeline expansion, partnerships etc.</li></ul><ul><li><b>Board Management & Meeting Preparation</b>: Lead the preparation of materials for board meetings, including strategy decks, executive summaries, and performance tracking. Develop clear storylines that communicate strategic priorities, progress on initiatives, and key business developments. Ensure alignment with executive leadership and present materials that are engaging, data-driven, and actionable. Manage the overall board meeting schedule, content, and follow-up.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li>Education: MBA, M.S. in Life Sciences, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.</li><li>Experience: At least 10-15 years of experience in strategy, corporate development, or management consulting, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role. Experience in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry is highly required.</li><li>Strong Analytical Skills: Proven ability to conduct market analysis, financial modeling, and competitive intelligence to drive strategic decisions.</li><li>Leadership Abilities: Experience leading cross-functional teams and influencing senior leadership. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with executives, board members, and external partners.</li><li>Strategic Thinking & Execution: Demonstrated success in developing and executing high-impact strategies in a complex, fast-paced environment<b>.</b></li><li>Project Management experience: Leads multi-workstream initiatives with senior stakeholders, ensuring timely decision-making, accountability, and delivery against strategic objectives. Ability to manage ambiguity and interdependencies across clinical, regulatory, and commercial timelines while maintaining strategic focus</li><li>Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the biotech/biopharmaceutical landscape, including understanding of drug development lifecycle, clinical trial design, regulatory pathways, market access and reimbursement globally.</li><li>Board-Level Experience: Demonstrated experience in preparing high-level materials for board meetings, including presentations, financial overviews, strategic roadmaps, and storylines that align with the board’s expectations.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Skills and Competencies:</b></p><ul><li>Strategic vision and business acumen</li><li>Data-driven decision-making, result oriented</li><li>Leadership and team-building capabilities</li><li>Effective communicator with senior stakeholders</li><li>Strong project management skills</li><li>Adaptable and resilient in a fast pace environment</li></ul><p></p><p><u><b><span>Salary and Benefits:</span></b></u><br /><br /><span>We offer a competitive base salary, annual bonus, and long-term incentives.
