<p>An innovative global CRO organisation in the life sciences sector is seeking a VP, Head of Internal Medicine &amp; Neuroscience business unit. This is a unique opportunity to drive commercial success, shape strategic direction, and deliver operational excellence in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul>
<li> Serve as the primary commercial leader for the Internal Medicine &amp; Neuroscience business, developing and executing growth strategies.</li>
<li> Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders, ensuring high satisfaction and retention.</li>
<li> Identify new business opportunities and lead the development of proposals, bids, and commercial negotiations.</li>
<li> Hold full P&amp;L responsibility for the business unit, managing budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance.</li>
<li> Oversee operational delivery of clinical trials and services, ensuring projects meet quality, budget, and timeline targets.</li>
<li> Lead and inspire a high-performing team, fostering a culture aligned with organisational values and objectives.</li>
<li> Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain a deep understanding of the relevant regulatory environment.</li>
<li> Represent the business at industry events and executive forums, providing thought leadership and staying ahead of industry trends.</li>
<li> Collaborate with other senior leaders to drive cross-functional initiatives and contribute to overall company strategy.</li>
</ul><p><strong>Qualification Requirements</strong></p><ul>
<li> Minimum 10 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical or related industry, with a strong track record in commercial leadership, P&amp;L management, and operational delivery.</li>
<li> Experience in designing and/or managing clinical trials in Internal Medicine &amp; Neuroscience.</li>
<li> Deep regulatory, scientific, technical, and clinical expertise in the therapeutic area, gained in CRO and Pharma/Biotech environments.</li>
<li> Outstanding leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.</li>
<li> Experience representing organisations at executive and industry levels.</li>
<li> Consultative and collaborative approach to project implementation.</li>
<li> Willingness to travel internationally (up to 50%).</li>
