Your mission

Pierre Fabre Laboratories are seeking a Shopper/Retail Activation Manager Junior for their subsidiary in Belgium (Brussels), under a one-year VIE contract, renewable for a further year, starting on 1st January 2027.

Your role within a pioneering company in full expansion:

Maximize the effectiveness of retail activation strategies across channels (pharmacy, parapharmacy, e-retail where applicable) by defining activation plans, executing in-store excellence programs (Perfect Store/RISE), managing POSM and visibility, measuring ROI, and ensuring continuous improvement - acting as a bridge between Marketing strategy and Sales execution.

1) Activation Strategy & Planning

• Participate in building channel activation strategy and annual activation calendar aligned with commercial objectives.
• Translate brand plans into retail-relevant programs: visibility, launches, seasonal pushes, and in-store storytelling.

2) In-store Excellence / Perfect Store / RISE

• Own Perfect Store/RISE standards, rollout, and tracking; define execution priorities and compliance measures.
• Partner with Sales to ensure field deployment, coaching, and execution routines.

3) POSM & Visibility Program Management

• Participate in defining POSM strategy, briefs, and production; manage suppliers and quality/lead times.
• Ensure coherent KV/claims execution in-store, consistent with brand strategy and compliance needs.
• Participate in optimizing visibility investment based on impact and feasibility.

4) ROI & Performance Measurement

• Participate in defining KPIs (distribution, visibility, promo quality, uplift indicators).
• Measure activation ROI with BI/NRM and recommend continuous improvement.

5) Cross-Functional Coordination

• Coordinate with Marketing on messages/content and with Sales on field execution and customer constraints.
• For e-retail activation: align with eKAM/eRetail where applicable on digital shelf and retail media inputs (if in scope locally)

To be successful in this role, you bring a strong execution discipline and the ability to drive projects forward. You do not rely on formal authority to get things done; your ability to lead through influence and manage cross-functional stakeholders is excellent.

Your skills at the service of innovative projects:

First relevant experience in Marketing, Trade Marketing, Shopper Marketing, or Retail Activation.

Strong project management capabilities, excellent stakeholder and supplier management, and a firm ROI mindset (focusing on measurable business impact, not just “visibility”).

Fluent in French & English, Dutch is a plus.

Advanced proficiency in the MS Office suite, coupled with basic analytics and BI (Business Intelligence) literacy.

At Pierre Fabre Laboratories, we believe that our greatest asset is our people.
