Together, we are transforming the patient experience and advancing the future of healthcare.</p><p></p><p><b>About the Role</b></p><p>This role will develop and lead high‑impact communications teams that drive growth, build reputation, activate employees culture and business transformation, and deliver meaningful societal impact across J&amp;J MedTech’s cardiovascular portfolio.</p><p></p><p>J&amp;J MedTech’s global cardiovascular businesses—including electrophysiology, heart recovery, circulatory restoration, and neurovascular—touch the lives of millions of patients each year. This role is accountable for communications strategy, talent development and performance across all key stakeholders, including customers and healthcare professionals, employees, investors, policymakers, media, suppliers, and patient communities.</p><p></p><p>The Vice President will lead teams delivering integrated, multi-stakeholder communications, including internal communications and change management; external communications and media relations; brand and marketing communications; public affairs and policy engagement; investor and financial communications; issues and crisis management; digital and social communications; community engagement; and patient advocacy.</p><p></p><p>Key business partners include the Company Group Chair of Electrophysiology &amp; Neurovascular and the Group Presidents of Heart Recovery and Circulatory Restoration. Reporting to the Global Head of MedTech Communications &amp; Public Affairs, this role sits on the MT CPA leadership team and serves as a trusted advisor to multiple business leadership teams.</p><p></p><p><b>The Impact You’ll Have</b></p><ul><li><p>Shape and elevate the reputation of Johnson &amp; Johnson in the cardiovascular space at a pivotal moment of innovation, growth, and transformation</p></li><li><p>Enable commercial success by aligning brand, marketing, and communications strategies to business priorities and customer needs</p></li><li><p>Inspire and equip leaders and employees through moments that matter—driving clarity, engagement, and confidence amid change</p></li><li><p>Build trust with external stakeholders, including media, investors, policymakers, and patient communities, through proactive, credible storytelling</p></li><li><p>Advance a digital first, data driven communications model that strengthens reach, relevance, and measurable impact</p></li><li><p>Develop and mentor world‑class communications talent, building a strong and enduring leadership bench</p></li><li><p>Champion patient centered narratives that reflect the real-world impact of cardiovascular innovation on lives around the globe</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Key Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li><p>Create measurable business value—across commercial growth, brand reputation, employee engagement, and transformation—through strategic stakeholder activation</p></li><li><p>Lead, inspire, and develop collaborative, high performing global communications teams</p></li><li><p>Promote approved products and build momentum for a pipeline of advanced cardiovascular technologies through integrated marketing communications</p></li><li><p>Build, protect, and enhance reputation through media relations, executive thought leadership, public affairs, and financial communications</p></li><li><p>Translate complex business strategies and transformation initiatives into clear, compelling employee communications that drive understanding and action</p></li><li><p>Lead communications through significant change and ambiguity, supporting a rapid pace of transformation</p></li><li><p>Set a clear vision for team focus, priorities, and desired impact</p></li><li><p>Deliver results in a highly matrixed, global environment with complex stakeholder interdependencies</p></li><li><p>Build digital first, data backed communications channels and campaigns</p></li><li><p>Champion patient advocacy and storytelling with a genuine passion for improving lives</p></li><li><p>Partner closely with senior leaders to shape and execute integrated, strategic communications plans</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Qualifications</b></p><ul><li><p>Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or other advanced degree preferred</p></li><li><p>15&#43; years of experience in strategic communications, brand marketing, or related disciplines</p></li><li><p>10&#43; years of experience leading, developing, and managing high performing teams</p></li><li><p>Proven expertise across corporate, internal, external, brand, and public affairs communications</p></li><li><p>Experience serving as a senior communications leader on a cross functional business leadership team within a global organization</p></li><li><p>Demonstrated success developing and executing integrated, multi-audience communications strategies</p></li><li><p>Strong track record of building trusted, influential partnerships with senior executives</p></li><li><p>Extensive experience managing complex, high-risk, high visibility communications issues</p></li><li><p>Proven ability to lead global teams through transformation and ambiguity</p></li><li><p>MedTech, cardiovascular, or B-2-B experience in a highly regulated industry preferred</p></li><li><p>Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (approximately 10%)</p></li></ul><p></p><p>Johnson &amp; Johnson is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
