The holder of this position ensure<br>a high-quality user experience throughout our software products and by being the interface between customers and the development teams.<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p><span>We are looking for a UX Lead Designer with strong leadership capabilities and passion to Sartorius Stedim Data Analytics AB. In this role, you will lead a holistic ecosystem mindset internally and coach our UI and product designers to make better decisions through research discipline, user centricity, experience coherence across the ecosystem, design reviews, mentoring and design governance towards the development teams. You will work closely with our externally focused UX-lead designer to ensure the ecosystem coherence and user centricity.  </span></p><p></p><p><span>This position is available full-time. It is an on site role in Umea.</span></p><p></p><p><b>Grow with us – Your Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li><p>Shape end-to-end experience coherence across multiple products, workflows, and stakeholder groups</p></li><li><p>Map and maintain customer journeys, service blueprints, and cross-product experience narratives</p></li><li><p>Identify gaps, overlaps, and inconsistencies across journeys and drive alignment across teams</p></li><li><p>Provide design reviews, guidance, and decision support to Product Designers and UI / Interaction Designers</p></li><li><p>Establish and evolve design governance, including principles, patterns, quality criteria and ways of working</p></li><li><p>Strengthen research rigor: when decisions become too local or assumption-driven, bring teams back to insight</p></li><li><p>Facilitate workshops and alignment sessions with Product Management, Engineering, Architecture, and other stakeholders</p></li><li><p>Support teams in defining experience outcomes and measurable UX success criteria</p></li><li><p>Liaise with Corporate Brand &amp; Design and the design system Elements to ensure shared experience direction, standards, and increased UX maturity</p></li><li><p>Promote accessibility best practices across the design process (for example WCAG-aligned criteria), supporting teams to build inclusive experiences from early concept through implementation</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>What will convince us </b></p><ul><li><p>Relevant academic degree (for example HCI, Interaction Design, Cognitive Science, Computer Science) or equivalent experience</p></li><li><p>Several years of experience in UX, service design, product design, or experience design in complex domains</p></li><li><p>Strong track record of end-to-end journey work across products and services, not only within a single UI</p></li><li><p>Solid experience planning and leading user research (discovery and evaluative), including synthesis and insight communication</p></li><li><p>Experience influencing cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Architecture) and supporting decision-making at scale</p></li><li><p>Strong documentation and facilitation skills (journey maps, service blueprints, experience principles, quality criteria)</p></li><li><p>Experience working in agile environments with diversified team structures</p></li><li><p>Experience from regulated or high-complexity domains (life science, biotech, medtech, industrial software, data-heavy products)</p></li><li><p>Experience with design systems governance and cross-team pattern evolution</p></li><li><p>Familiarity with analytics, data visualization and decision-support UX</p></li><li><p>Experience with tools such as Figma (or equivalent), Miro and Azure DevOps</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>What we offer </b></p><p></p><p>As a growing global life science company, stock listed on the German TecDAX, Sartorius offers a wide range of benefits: </p><ul><li><p><b>Personal and Professional Development: </b>Mentoring, leadership programs and internal seminar offerings</p></li><li><p><b>Making an impact right from the start: </b>Comprehensive onboarding, including a virtual online platform <b>–</b> even before joining</p></li><li><p><b>Welcoming Culture: </b>Mutual support, team-spirit and international collaboration; communities on numerous topics such as coaching, agile working and businesswomen network</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>About Sartorius </b></p><p></p><p>Sartorius is part of the solution in the fight against cancer, dementia, and many other diseases.
