Adalet<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p><span>As a part of the global industrial organization Marmon Holdings—which is backed by Berkshire Hathaway—</span><span>you’ll</span><span> be doing things that matter, leading at every level, and winning a better way. </span><span>We’re</span><span> committed to making a positive impact on the world, providing you with diverse learning and working opportunities, and fostering a culture where </span><span>everyone’s</span><span> empowered to be their best.</span></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p>The Sheetmetal Fabricator (Utility B Worker) is responsible for duties related to manufacturing industrial grade stainless steel electrical enclosures using grinding, finishing, spot welding, and stud welding processes and equipment to produce products to meet certification requirements and product specifications in a timely and accurate manner<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><div><h3><b>Essential Duties</b></h3><ul><li>Achieve a grained finish on stainless steel enclosures and components using belt‑stroke sanders, handheld grinding tools, and finishing equipment.</li><li>Apply weld studs using capacitor‑discharge and drawn‑arc weld processes.</li><li>Apply parts to enclosures and related products using resistance‑welding processes and equipment.</li><li>Start machines and monitor operation to ensure proper performance.</li><li>Inspect products for visual conformance to specifications and remove defects or defective pieces.</li><li>Interpret and execute drawings, routers, BOMs, and verbal/written instructions to meet quality standards.</li><li>Perform internal finishing using abrasive blasting and/or grinding.</li><li>Work from samples, verbal instructions, written instructions, and standard procedures.</li><li>Use hand tools, measuring devices, and related equipment.</li><li>Detect and report faulty equipment, defective material, improper operations, or unusual conditions to supervision.</li><li>Move materials, skids, and equipment safely using appropriate material‑handling equipment.</li><li>Support and participate in Lean/5S activities and process‑improvement initiatives.</li><li>Maintain compliance with all Marmon IEI Environmental, Health, and Safety policies.</li><li>Support activities in compliance with ISO Quality System procedures.</li><li>Work collaboratively with leads, supervisors, managers, and other Marmon IEI employees.</li><li>Perform other projects and assigned tasks as required.</li></ul></div><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><div><p><b>Knowledge and Skills Preferred</b></p><ul><li>Ability to read and write clearly</li><li>Ability to read job specifications</li><li>Ability to organize work efficiently</li><li>Ability to communicate with all levels of employees</li><li>Ability to perform basic arithmetic, statistics, and other specific mathematical applications</li><li>Basic knowledge of machines and tools, including their design, use, and basic maintenance</li><li>Basic knowledge of principles and processes for meeting customer requirements and specifications</li><li>Ability to multi‑task, follow priorities, and use strong troubleshooting techniques</li><li>Self‑starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision</li><li>Strong housekeeping practices and organizational skills</li></ul><p><b>Education and Experience Preferred</b></p><ul><li>High School Diploma or GED preferred</li><li>Experience in a manufacturing environment with machine‑operating responsibilities is a plus</li></ul><p><b>Working Conditions and Physical Requirements</b></p><ul><li>Ability to work in a manufacturing environment</li><li>Ability to follow safety guidelines and wear required PPE</li><li>Ability to work long hours while standing and operating machinery</li><li>Ability to move objects and materials weighing at least 50 lbs</li></ul></div><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left"><span>Following receipt of a conditional offer of employment, <span>candidates will be required to complete additional job-related screening processes</span> as permitted or required by applicable law</span>.</p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left">We are an equal opportunity employer, and all applicants will be considered for employment without attention to their membership in any protected class.
