<div class="content-intro"><p>At Keros, our mission is to deliver significant clinical benefit to a wide range of patients with disorders that are linked to dysfunctional signaling of the transforming growth factor-beta (TGF-ß) family of proteins. With a focus on developing differentiated product candidates that are designed to alter TGF-β signaling, we aim to target the pathways critical for the growth, repair and maintenance of blood cells and a number of tissues, including bone, skeletal muscle, adipose and heart tissue. We believe our product candidates have the potential to unlock the full therapeutic benefits of modulating the TGF-β superfamily and provide disease-modifying benefit to patients.</p></div><p><strong>Job Summary</strong></p>
<p>This role is responsible for media and feed preparation, execution of experiments for upstream biologics process development, routine daily maintenance of upstream equipment, and experiment data management and analysis.&nbsp; Organizational skills, communication skills, and recordkeeping are also critical to this role.</p>
<p><strong>Primary Responsibilities:</strong><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>CHO mammalian cell cultures in shaker flasks, WAVE bioreactors, and benchtop bioreactors</li>
<li>Media and feed formulation as needed for experiments</li>
<li>Data management and analysis including metabolite, gas, cell count, and titer data</li>
<li>Media and feed studies to support process development on early phase programs</li>
<li>Scale-down modeling and range finding to support development and program technology transfers</li>
<li>Depth filtration filter loading studies to develop cell culture harvest strategies</li>
<li>Routine maintenance on upstream equipment to maintain daily functionality</li>
</ul>

<li>Familiar with aseptic technique methods</li>
<li>Familiar with experiment design</li>
<li>Familiar with Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel</li>
<li>Technical and scientific writing and presentation skills</li>

<ul>
<li>Mammalian cell culture</li>
<li>Media and buffer preparation</li>
<li>Understanding of basic engineering and biology concepts</li>

<p><strong>Education Requirements</strong></p>

<li>Currently enrolled in a chemical engineering, bioengineering, molecular biology or related program to earn a Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent</li>
