We are searching for the best talent for Training Supervisor.

Purpose:

Identifies the areas related to compliance, technical areas and systems that require training. Designs and provides adequate training programs. Works jointly with all the groups within the plant to evaluate the areas where there could be gaps in the performance related to the compliance in order to develop and recommend corrective measures. Directly supervises and coordinates the activities of the training coordinators and trainers.

In accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations and Corporate Johnson & Johnson, procedures and guidelines, this position:

• Evaluates the needs the plant has and performs task analysis as support to the development of compliance training programs, technical areas and systems.

• Works jointly with the departments of the plant for the development of a training program that covers all the compliance requirements for each position.

• Researches the requirements imposed by law. Develops and maintains an inventory program to support the needs of the plant.

• Knowledge in Learning Management System (LMS) and its use to deploy training programs and requirements across the company.

• Develops measures and periodically prepare reports for management. Provide training programs as required.

• Understands basic finance management to support managing site training budgets and capital projects if needed.

• Application of Project Management and/or Process Excellence knowledge and skills to lead projects of moderate to high complexity.

• Ensures that the company and the personnel complies with the statutes of health, safety and environment established by the federal, state and local laws.

• Ensure that all subordinates follow the company’s health, safety and environmental policies and that they have all the resources to perform these practices.

• Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level.

• Responsible for following all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices as applicable.

• For those who supervise or manage a staff, responsible for ensuring that subordinates follow all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition, if applicable.

• Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures.

TRAINING HUB RESPONSIBILITIES

·       Ensures the continuity, effectiveness, and standardization of Training Hub operations.

·       Provides direction, alignment, and follow-up to trainers, coordinators, and SME/OPECs (as applicable).

·       Acts as the primary liaison between the Training Hub and management, ensuring clear and timely communication.

·       Aligns the scope of the Training Hub with other training areas.

·       Validates the proper execution and traceability of certifications in coordination with relevant areas.

·       Promotes standardization and best practices within the Training Hub model.

·       Leads improvement, cost-saving, and budget-related projects.

·       Ensures effective communication across shifts, supervisors, and support areas to maintain alignment and continuity of training processes.

·       Responsible for providing leadership, guidance, and support to personnel across both shifts while maintaining standard working hours.

 

 

Qualifications / Requirements:

Experience and education

• Concluded University bachelor’s degree in science, Engineering or Education (Preferably).

• 2 to 4 years of experience in Pharmaceutical; Consumer/Personal Products, Medical Device or

• 0-2 years of experience in personnel management, required.

Required knowledge, skills, abilities, certifications/licenses and affiliations

• Excellent oral and written communication skills in Spanish and English.

• Communication, influencing and partnering skills

• Possess aptitude to clarify and summarize regulatory documents to formats made to perform trainings.

• Experience working in a Regulatory environment, such as FDA/Europe.

• TWI Methodology Certification (Training Within Industry) is preferred.

• Leadership and coaching abilities are required.

• Ability to develop talent across all levels.

• Project management abilities.

• Experience working with Manufacturing, Operations, New Products and R&D.

• Ability to manage the complexity of calendars and projects/assignments.
