Description

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Bioinformatician to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the analysis of high-throughput sequencing data, the development of bioinformatics pipelines, and the interpretation of complex biological datasets. This role is ideal for someone passionate about applying data science to life sciences and making an impact in genomics, diagnostics, or biomedical research. **Key Responsibilities** - Analyze and interpret next-generation sequencing (NGS) data, including RNA-seq, DNA-seq, and metagenomics - Develop, optimize, and maintain reproducible bioinformatics workflows using tools such as Nextflow, Snakemake, or Galaxy - Collaborate with biologists, clinicians, and data scientists to design experiments and support data-driven decision-making - Perform statistical and computational analysis of multi-omics data - Create high-quality visualizations and reports for internal teams and external partners - Stay up to date with the latest methods and tools in the field of bioinformatics

Requirements

- Master’s or PhD in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Genomics, or a related discipline - Strong programming skills in Python, R, and/or Bash - Hands-on experience with NGS data analysis tools (e.g., STAR, GATK, DESeq2, BWA) - Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and HPC or cloud computing environments - Solid understanding of molecular biology, genomics, and data science fundamentals - Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
