If you are excited about a role but don't meet every bullet point, we encourage you to apply and join us to create the extraordinary.<h2>Job Summary</h2><div><div>Job Description</div></div><div><div><div><div>To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a/an Test Engineer located in Bukit Minyak, Penang.This role is responsible for implementing and maintaining cost-effective methods for testing and troubleshooting systems, software, and equipment.Principle Accountabilities: <ul><li>Directs and/or coordinates electronic engineering and/or technical personnel in fabrication and design of testing and test control apparatus and equipment, or software and systems testing.</li><li>Directs and coordinates electronic engineering activities concerned with development, procurement, installation and calibration of instruments, equipment and control devices required to test, and record test data.</li><li>Interfaces and confers with scientific, engineering and technical personnel to resolve testing problems such as product or system malfunctions, incomplete test data, data interpretation or coding issues.</li><li>Analyzes and interprets test data and prepares technical reports for use by electronic or software engineering, and management personnel.</li><li>May develops or use computer software and hardware to conduct tests on electronic products and systems or software.</li><li>Trains and instructs floor support, test technicians and test operators on test hardware and/or software, as well as problem solving techniques.</li><li>Resolves test yield problems by performing analysis of root causes, developing and coordinating corrective action measures and monitoring improvements.</li><li>Perform and support equipment verification and integration in production.</li><li>Create and maintain process documentation.</li><li>Actively search for new technologies or procedures in the test sector.</li><li>Determines conditions under which tests are to be conducted and sequences and phases of test operations.</li></ul>Specialized Job Responsibilities may be required for certain positions. These could include one or more of the following duties:IN-CIRCUIT<ul><li>Develops and/or supports quality comprehensive test programs.</li><li>Develops or modifies test models.</li><li>Performs written analysis of fault grade.</li><li>Develops quotes for test development and enhancements.</li><li>Performs test ability analysis (DFT).</li><li>Performs mechanical analysis of test fixtures.</li><li>Coordinates 3rd part development of in-circuit programs, enhancements, and test fixtures.</li></ul>FUNCTIONAL<ul><li>Develops and/or modifies test programs using various languages (i.e. Python, Lab View, Perl etc.).</li><li>Develops instrument drivers.</li><li>Develops and/or supports diagnostic tests at the card edge level.</li><li>Designs and supports functional test hardware, computer platforms and interfaces.</li><li>Develops test plans and procedures.</li><li>Coordinates 3rd party development of functional test development,enhancements, test fixtures.</li><li>Develops quotations for functional test hardware and software.</li></ul>ENVIRONMENTAL STRESS SCREENING (ESS)<ul><li>Designs, develops and/or supports environmental test programs, procedures and profiles</li><li>Designs and/or supports mechanical/electrical interfaces for product tests.</li><li>Performs failure analysis on environmental test failures.</li><li>Coordinates 3rd party development of ESS activities.</li></ul>SYSTEMS & Software<ul><li>Analyzes and interprets software or system level diagnostic failure (software and hardware).</li><li>Develops and/or modifies software or system level plans and tests.</li></ul><ul><li>Develops and/or supports quality comprehensive test programs.</li><li>Develops quotes for test development and enhancements.</li><li>Performs test ability analysis (DFT).</li></ul>The experience we’re looking to add to our team:<ul><li>Possesses a Degree in related discipline or equivalent experience.</li><li>Minimum 4 years of working experience in the related field is required</li></ul>What you’ll receive for the great work you provide:<ul><li>Life Insurance</li><li>Medical Benefits</li><li>Allowances and Bonuses</li><li>Paid Time-Off</li></ul>KJ19</div></div></div></div><h2></h2><h2>Job Category</h2>Production EngineeringRequired Skills:Optional Skills:Flex is an Equal Opportunity Employer and employment selection decisions are based on merit, qualifications, and abilities.
