Description

As a Test Automation Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring software quality by designing, implementing, and maintaining automated test solutions. You will work closely with development teams to integrate automated testing into the development lifecycle and to ensure reliable, scalable, and efficient testing processes. Responsibilities include designing, implementing, and maintaining automated test frameworks, developing automated test scripts, integrating them into CI/CD workflows, analyzing test results, collaborating with software developers, applying quality engineering principles throughout the Agile product lifecycle, and supporting manual testing when necessary.

Requirements

Solid experience in software test automation (ca. 3+ years). Strong programming skills (e.g., Python, Java, or similar). Experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Playwright). Experience in designing maintainable and scalable test automation solutions. Good understanding of software development processes and CI/CD concepts. General experience in testing embedded systems is a plus. Critical thinker with good knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems. Work experience in regulated environments is an advantage. Ability to work independently with a structured and goal-oriented approach. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Enjoy collaborating efficiently and communicating well within international and intercultural settings. Proficient in English, fluency in German is welcome. Candidates must have the legal right to work in Switzerland.
