We’re revolutionizing the way people monitor their glucose levels with our new sensing technology.We are looking for a seasoned Territory Specialist to join our highly successful Diabetes Care division. The successful candidate will provide superior education and support to Health Care Professionals (Endo, DNE, Pharmacists & GP) across Greenslopes, Mt Gravatt, Redland Bay, Logan City, Gold Coast, Northern NSW and Mackay/Whitsundays, to be based in QLD, through pre planned appointments scheduled at a defined quarterly frequency. Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Drive product recommendation & awareness through superior face to face interactions with HCP’s</li><li>Provide superior education sessions to both HCP’s and consumers as determine by annual marketing plan</li><li>Manage expenditure, meeting set spend KPI’s</li><li>Maintain all Coverage & frequency quarterly KPI’s</li><li>Manage Sales Force and other Abbott Diabetes Care internal systems to ensure optimal effectiveness</li><li>Work closely with Queensland & national team members to facilitate state / national product adoption</li><li>Attend national sales meeting and industry events as requested</li><li>Be able to understand and relay clinical and medical data while have a strong disease state knowledge</li><li>Maintain a comprehensive IT capability</li><li>Abide by Abbott corporate ethics and compliance procedures </li></ul>The following skills/background required:<ul><li>Extensive Experience as defined in a sales role preferably in the health care industry</li><li>Excellent communication skills</li><li>Proven ability to achieve sales targets</li><li>Degree or diploma in a Science or Nursing discipline</li><li>Be able to adapt quickly to new directives and situations</li><li>Work independently with strong self-motivation</li></ul>     The base pay for this position is N/AIn specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted. <h2>JOB FAMILY:</h2>Sales Force     <h2>DIVISION:</h2>ADC Diabetes Care        <h2>LOCATION:</h2>Australia > East Brisbane : 12 Mowbray Terrace     <h2>ADDITIONAL LOCATIONS:</h2>     <h2>WORK SHIFT:</h2>Standard     <h2>TRAVEL:</h2>Yes, 10 % of the Time     <h2>MEDICAL SURVEILLANCE:</h2>Not Applicable     <h2>SIGNIFICANT WORK ACTIVITIES:</h2>Continuous sitting for prolonged periods (more than 2 consecutive hours in an 8 hour day)
