Territory Manager, Sports Medicine - Melbourne Metro

This position will re responsible for selling a range of medical equipment products and services  by  using  specialised  knowledge. This role will be responsible and accountable for business growth within the defined territory by maximising sales of Smith + Nephew Sports Medicine products and brands through regular contact with the target custom base

What will you be doing?

• Responsibility for achieving and exceeding sales budget for assigned state Sports Medicine territory and meeting Key Performance Indicators as set by Regional Sales Manager. Ensure the annual product portfolio sales targets are achieved in assigned territory.

• Provide input to the State Sales Manager on the determination of the annual sales budget and strategy for your assigned territory.

• Develop and manage short and long-term account strategies that support S+N SPM strategies and objectives.

• Implement and maintain an account management process that includes account assessment, account prioritisation, strategy development and execution, and regular account reviews with the Regional Sales Manager.

• Create accurate sales forecasts and provide timely monthly reporting to the Regional Sales Manager on the actual to forecast.

• Actively monitor market trends including competitor activities and work out relevant strategies with the Regional Sales Manager to mitigate risks to achievement of sales forecast.

What will you need to be successful?

• Tertiary qualifications in Science or business-related discipline

• Candidates with proven experience in sports medicine and/or endoscopy clinical support or exceptional sales experience in related medical devices (2 years and above)

• Strong selling skills and focus towards meeting and exceeding customer expectations.
