Description
The Territory Manager is responsible for achieving a sales quota through profiling, targeting, needs analysis, and closing on targeted accounts. Customers include Health Care Professionals managing patients with diabetes, such as Primary Care Physicians, Endocrinologists, and Nurse Practitioners. Key responsibilities include developing relationships, meeting sales objectives, maintaining customer loyalty, demonstrating products, and executing administrative duties effectively. The role requires regular business travel and participation in training programs.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years' sales experience with a successful track record. Prior sales experience in medical device and/or diabetes specialty preferred. Excellent communication and presentation skills, ability to execute sales plans, manage territory budget, and function in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with computers is essential.
