The Technician Shipping/Receiving & Distribution is responsible for accurate picking and secure packaging of medical blood-related products for our valued internal and external customers. While the primary shift is 1st shift, flexibility is essential, as starting times may vary by plus or minus two hours based on product availability and fluctuating volumes. This position requires adherence to safety protocols, including the consistent use of various Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as safety shoes, safety glasses, and latex gloves.  

This position reports to the Distribution Manager and is part of the Distribution Warehouse located in Hialeah Florida and will be an on-site role.     

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Support warehouse and distribution operations by managing inventory, including storing products, performing cycle counts, and maintaining accurate stock records.

• You will accurately pick, pack, and prepare products for shipment while ensuring compliance with lot control and expiration date requirements.

• Responsibilities also include preparing shipping documentation, loading and unloading shipments, coordinating with carriers, operating material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks, and maintaining a safe and compliant work environment by following all established safety procedures and PPE requirements.

The essential requirements of the job include

• Minimum High School Diploma.

• 1-2 years of experience in warehousing and shipping operations.

• Proficient in inventory management, order fulfillment, and logistics coordination, with demonstrated experience operating E-pallet jacks and forklifts.

Physical/Environment Requirements:

• Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 50lb, any other physical requirement

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:        

• Documentation: Familiar with Oracle / ERP / SAP for maintaining accurate records of all incoming and outgoing products, inventory adjustments, and quality checks.  
• Quality Control: Adhering to strict regulatory guidelines (e.g., FDA, GMP) for handling and storing medical products, monitoring temperature-sensitive items, and maintaining cleanliness and organization within the warehouse
