At IDT, you’ll be part of a culture rooted in continuous learning and improvement—where your growth fuels our mission to accelerate the pace of genomics and helps shape a healthier, brighter future for all.</p><p>Learn about the <a href="https://www.danaher.com/how-we-work/danaher-business-system" target="_blank">Danaher Business System</a> which makes everything possible.</p><p></p><p>The Technician I (Tubes and Formulated Research Products) is responsible for laboratory decontamination and preparing materials for production – enabling the manufacturing team to deliver the highest quality of product to customers on time.</p><p></p><p>This position reports to the Day Supervisor of Plate Formulation team in the Tubes and Formulated Research Products Value Stream located in Coralville, IA, and will be an on-site role.</p><p></p><p><b>In this role, you will have the opportunity to:</b></p><ul><li>Performs lab cleaning and decontamination protocols</li><li>Prepares synthesis plates so that they are ready for synthesis – which includes washing, drying, fritting and membrane loading</li><li>Prepares materials for use such as glass tube rack filling and NAP column regeneration</li></ul><p></p><p><b>The essential requirements of the job include:</b></p><ul><li>High School diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred</li><li>Proficiency in a variety of PC software programs with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office required</li></ul><p></p><p><b>It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:</b></p><ul><li>Previous laboratory and chemical handling experience preferred</li></ul><p></p><p>IDT, a Danaher operating company, offers a broad array of comprehensive, competitive benefit programs that add value to our lives.
