The job involves various types of sample testing to support product development and regulatory submissions as well as daily laboratory upkeep tasks.</p><p></p><p>Sample testing includes, but is not limited to, the following measurements: Color &amp; clarity, density, nephelometry, pH, osmolality, viscosity, and visual inspection.</p><p></p><p>New employees will receive full training before starting independent work.</p><p></p><p><b>Scope and responsibility:</b></p><ul><li><p>Prepare and analyze samples to support research and development.</p></li><li><p>Review and complete laboratory documentation.</p></li><li><p>Prepare solutions and buffers.</p></li><li><p>Organize and clean laboratory.</p></li><li><p>Perform stock checks and order glassware, chemicals, and consumables as needed.</p></li><li><p>Provide technical training and support.</p></li><li><p>Maintain basic laboratory equipment such as balances, pH meters, etc.</p></li></ul><p><b> </b></p><p><b>Job requirements:</b></p><ul><li><p><span><span>Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related field.</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Experience in laboratory work is necessary.</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Experience in biopharma is advantageous. </span></span></p></li><li><p>Positive mindset, excellent time management skills, organizational skills, attention to detail and precise working habits.</p></li><li><p>Fluency in English, both written and spoken.</p></li><li><p>Proficient in Microsoft Office.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>About the department:</b></p><p>The Analytical R&amp;D Physicochemical Assays department is part of the R&amp;D organization within Alvotech. The main role is to develop and validate analytical methods, analyze samples as part of research and analytical development programs, participate in execution of analytical strategies, and support preparation of all regulatory documentation.</p><p></p><p>Candidates are required to submit a <b>CV</b> and a <b>Cover Letter</b> (max 200 words).
