Permanent, Part-Time 0.6 FTE (over 4-5 days) opportunity, with flexibility of work hours, and competitive remuneration and benefits

We are seeking a Technical Services Customer Support Veterinarian to provide technical support to internal teams, customers and end users. This role represents the company, responds to technical enquiries and supports the safe and effective use of our products.
You will communicate technical information clearly to a range of audiences, accurately record enquiry and case details, and help ensure pharmacovigilance requirements and timelines are met. Working closely with Marketing, Regulatory and Sales, you will help ensure products are well supported and correctly represented.
Based within the Companion Animal Business Unit, this role reports to the BU Lead or Technical Lead and is office based.
What You Will Do
Responsibilities include, however not limited to:
Technical support to veterinarians, veterinary and pet store staff, and consumers:
Provide technical advice on company products
Respond to technical enquiries, adverse events and suspected product complaints
Source and communicate accurate information to support customers
Stay current with developments in veterinary medicine and companion animal products
Review marketing materials and deliver product training where required
Help maintain information collection and review processes
PV and product complaint responsibilities:
Complete and maintain PV training
Report all potential PV and product quality complaint information in line with local and global requirements
Support PV activities, including case entry, literature review and colleague training
Liaise with the PV team on third-party arrangements
Assist with local PV case entry into PV Works, as directed
Technical support for sales, customer service and internal stakeholders:
Develop and deliver training for sales and customer service teams
Provide on-the-job and induction training
Update technical training materials
Technical support for marketing and other functions:
Provide technical input to marketing
Ensure product literature, promotional activity, packaging and labelling meet technical and regulatory requirements
Work with Field Technical Services veterinarians on technical information for veterinarians, pet stores and consumers
Support brand managers with technical, promotional and label materials
What You Must have
Veterinary Degree and registration in New Zealand essential
Knowledge of companion animal medicine desirable with clinical experience
Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence in presenting and training
Strong numerical, technical and analytical skills
Ability to absorb and communicate technical and scientific information clearly
Self-starter who works well with minimal supervision
Ability to work under pressure, manage deadlines and make day-to-day decisions
Strong team-working skills
