About the Role
As a Technical Product Owner (TPO), you hold technical, architectural, and operational ownership of assigned modules within the Data Computation Platform (DCP). Bridging high-level platform vision and hands-on software execution, you translate business requirements into robust technical designs, direct engineering backlogs, and drive fast, reliable digital solution delivery. Depending on your assigned module, your work will range from open-source analytics to GxP-validated applications, partnering with validation specialists when compliance applies.
Key Accountabilities
● Define and execute the technical vision, architecture, database schemas, and
release roadmaps for assigned platform modules.
● Translate business and analytics requirements into actionable technical user stories and manage sprint backlogs using Scrum or SAFe.
● Lead module technical design, microservice architecture, containerization
(Docker/Kubernetes), and API integrations with industrial data sources (e.g., AVEVA PI, LIMS, MES).
● Oversee CI/CD release pipelines, system health, and level-3 technical support
escalations.
● Act as the primary technical contact for Computerized System Validation (CSV) teams on regulated modules to align test cases, supply specifications, and streamline compliant deployments.
● Collaborate closely with peers across the team and contribute technical support across modules when needed.
Required Skills & Experience
● Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, or a related field.
● 5+ years of experience in software engineering, technical product ownership, or solution architecture.
● Strong software development background in languages such as Python, R, C#, or modern JS frameworks (Vue/Angular).
● Proven experience with microservices, RESTful APIs, relational data modeling, and containerization frameworks.
● Practical familiarity with pharmaceutical GxP regulations, 21 CFR Part 11, Data Integrity, or CSV workflows.
● Demonstrated success directing engineering teams and managing technical
backlogs in Agile environments.
● Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Nice-to-Have
● Practical integration experience with manufacturing execution systems, SCADA, or AVEVA PI.
● Hands-on experience automating test execution within modern CI/CD deployment pipelines
