Technical Product Owner (TPO) within the Enterprise Supply Chain Business Technology Make Product Group.
TPO need to continuously maximize throughput and ensure that value is realized by the business through the JJT capabilities implemented. TPO’s should have a strong view of external IT capabilities in the market and how they can be applied to drive business value for J&J.
The TPO works at the intersection of the manufacturing process business owners & technology to define strategies & priorities that combine a deep understanding of business objectives and challenges with technology solutions. Extending these into development execution, value realization & ongoing product management. In this role, you will support the Anasco Make squad in reliability, performance, and right capabilities of the local products specific to the plant (such as new lines, enhancements, and other activities). This role will also provide coaching to other indirect team members.
Vision & Strategy Definition: shaping the Make business vision corresponding technology strategy & product capability roadmaps around business impact. Understanding and translating business problems faced by the manufacturing site function into a value case for the manufacturing site technology, data, governance & user experience supported by defined, baselined value realization key performance indicators.
External Insights: understanding external insights, trends, leading practices in Make product maturity, machine learning and artificial intelligence space.
Solution Design: ensuring that product development efforts incorporate an approach that starts with experimentation to validate expected impact, includes human centered design, Automation to reduce run cost, embraces agile principles, incorporates external insights, required end to end process optimizations, and compliance engagement.
Value Realization: defining expected value impact of investments across employee experience, functional excellence, efficiency, and compliance.
Architecture: partnering with the architecture team to define the role each system plays within our landscape aligned with business capabilities.
Internal Partnerships: acting as the primary trusted advisor to senior manufacturing & technology leaders across all lifecycles of Manufacturing product development starting with inception through to value realization & ongoing continuous improvement, and communication of progress against strategic objectives.
Product Management: partnering with product management teams to ensure roadmaps are oriented to deliver finance business & technology strategy, value creation objectives, and measurable key performance indicators. And ensure all tools/platforms related to product management up to date.
External Partnerships: managing build & run support and vendor relationships to influence development roadmaps & ensure that our needs will be met by our technology partners.
