The Global Services Finance organization provides best-in-class, cost-effective financial services, and compliance—in a J&amp;J way—to our Operating Companies around the world.  </p><p></p><p>The Legal Entity Accounting team is responsible for the completeness and accuracy of both the US and Local GAAP &amp; Tax reporting working closely with the Country Tax Centers (CTC). This includes but is not limited to recording and maintaining the accuracy of statutory ledgers, focus on ensuring the correct tax accounting and liaison / coordination with internal and external audit teams.</p><p></p><p><b>Key Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li><p>Monitor and facilitate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities for country in scope.</p></li><li><p>Review journal entries, account reconciliations and management reports related to tax, fully observing Compliance, Internal Audit, and SOX requirements.</p></li><li><p>Support auditors and legal authorities with the execution of required activities – local statutory audit and reporting, statistical reporting.</p></li><li><p>Collaborate with different stakeholders in completing the local statutory audit.</p></li><li><p>Assist in the preparation and full review of the statutory financial statements.</p></li><li><p>Support CTC and collaborate with different stakeholders for tax audit requirements.</p></li><li><p>Supervise the day-to-day operations of the department including work allocation, scheduling, establishment of timelines and other related activities.
