<h2><b>Career Category</b></h2>Research<h2></h2><h2><b>Job Description</b></h2><h2><b>Role Purpose</b></h2><h2>Drive scientific readiness across priority Global Development programs by translating disease, mechanism, and protocol rationale into high-impact learning that improves study startup, site engagement, data quality, and patient continuity.</h2><h2>Based in India, this role supports <b>multiple therapeutic areas globally</b>, working in close partnership with other Knowledge & Learning Managers to ensure scientific learning is consistent, scalable, and locally relevant. The position acts as a <b>performance partner to clinical teams</b>, ensuring the science behind the protocol is understood, adopted, and applied across diverse study environments.</h2><h2><b>Key Accountabilities</b></h2><ul><li><h2><b>Program Ownership</b></h2><ul><li><h2>Lead end-to-end design, delivery, and continuous improvement of protocol/scientific learning across assigned programs and studies.</h2></li><li><h2>Collaborate with Global Study Leads, Medical Directors, Clinical Operations, Site Engagement, Biostatistics, and Quality teams.</h2></li><li><h2>Contribute to global learning consistency while ensuring regional relevance and scientific accuracy.</h2></li></ul></li><li><h2><b>Scientific Content & Enablement</b></h2><ul><li><h2>Develop disease-state, mechanism-of-action, and protocol rationale narratives that connect scientific objectives, endpoints, inclusion/exclusion criteria, and operational considerations to the biology and patient journey.</h2></li><li><h2>Create modular learning assets (e.g., scenario-based modules, microlearning, facilitator guides, site one-pagers, decision trees).</h2></li><li><h2>Translate complex scientific content into usable learning and performance tools for CRAs, site staff, and study teams.</h2></li></ul></li><li><h2><b>Cross-Therapeutic and Regional Support</b></h2><ul><li><h2>Support multiple therapeutic areas and global studies with tailored learning aligned to regional and cultural contexts.</h2></li><li><h2>Serve as a regional focal point for scientific learning needs in JAPAC, while collaborating with global peers to maintain consistency and quality.</h2></li></ul></li><li><h2><b>Knowledge Management</b></h2><ul><li><h2>Maintain version-controlled, searchable repositories of scientific learning (e.g., Klarity, SharePoint, OneNote, LMS).</h2></li><li><h2>Ensure compliance with governance, approvals, and documentation standards (Medical, QA, Legal, Privacy).</h2></li></ul></li><li><h2><b>Measurement & Insights</b></h2><ul><li><h2>Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as learning completion, confidence levels, protocol deviations, query rates, and startup cycle times.</h2></li><li><h2>Use feedback loops and analytics to inform continuous improvement and impact measurement.</h2></li></ul></li><li><h2><b>Stakeholder & Vendor Management</b></h2><ul><li><h2>Facilitate scientific and learning workshops with internal and external partners.</h2></li><li><h2>Oversee SOWs and ensure quality, scientific rigor, and instructional excellence.</h2></li></ul></li><li><h2><b>Change & Communications</b></h2><ul><li><h2>Create communication and change management plans to support adoption of new learning methods and digital tools.</h2></li></ul></li><li><h2><b>Coaching & Community</b></h2><ul><li><h2>Coach SMEs and facilitators in evidence-based learning practices.</h2></li><li><h2>Contribute to Communities of Practice across the Knowledge & Learning network to foster innovation and best practice sharing.</h2></li></ul></li></ul><h2></h2><h2><b>Basic Qualifications</b></h2><ul><li><h2>Doctorate degree with 6+ years OR</h2></li><li><h2>Master’s degree with 8+ years of experience OR</h2></li><li><h2>Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of experience OR</h2></li><li><h2>At least 6 or more years of experience in clinical research, clinical operations, or scientific training.</h2></li><li><h2>Excellent written and spoken English.</h2></li><li><h2>Strong facilitation, storytelling, and stakeholder management skills; systems thinking and design mindset.</h2></li></ul><h2><b>Preferred Qualifications</b></h2><ul><li><h2>Experience supporting <b>global clinical trials</b> or <b>scientific education</b> across regions.</h2></li><li><h2>Familiarity with <b>role-based or scenario-based learning</b> methods.</h2></li><li><h2>Ability to work effectively across time zones and cultures.</h2></li><li><h2>Proficiency in collaboration tools (LMS, SharePoint/OneDrive, authoring tools) and strong data literacy for KPI tracking.</h2></li></ul><h2><b>Travel: </b>Up to 10% for global workshops, site engagement sessions, and stakeholder meetings.</h2><h2></h2><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p>.
