Join a global team where your work directly supports scientific innovation, healthcare, and life-changing research. You'll have the opportunity to develop your skills, work with industry-leading technologies, and contribute to products that make a real difference.

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented Supply Planner to take end-to-end ownership of the planning and supply activities for one or more product families within our sterile pharmaceutical manufacturing operation.

This role offers hands-on experience across production planning, material planning, purchasing, inventory management, and finite scheduling. Working closely with Operations, Quality teams, and Customer Service, you'll play a key role in ensuring customer demand is translated into achievable production plans while maintaining material availability and operational efficiency.

This is an excellent opportunity to build or further develop your career in supply chain planning within a highly regulated manufacturing environment.

What You’ll Do

• Review and maintain customer demand forecasts and validate requirements against available manufacturing capacity in SAP.

• Run Material Requirements Planning (MRP) to identify material shortages, create a delivery plan for raw materials and generate purchasing requirements.

• Raise and manage purchase orders to ensure raw material availability in line with inventory policies.

• Create, release, and maintain production orders and associated manufacturing documentation.

• Develop and maintain finite production schedules using SAP and the Advanced Planning & Scheduling System (APS).

• Monitor production progress and collaborate with operations’ teams to resolve capacity constraints and schedule deviations.

• Maintain planning master data, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and supporting documentation.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across supply chain and manufacturing operations processes.

• Build strong working relationships across cross-functional teams to ensure service, inventory, and production objectives are achieved.

What We're Looking For

Essential

• Bachelor's or master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
• 2-5 years’+ experience using SAP PP/MM in a manufacturing or supply chain environment.
• Change management experience with digital transformation.
• Strong Excel and analytical skills.
• Excellent organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.

Preferred

• Experience using Advanced Planning and Scheduling Systems.
• Experience within a pharmaceutical and GMP-regulated manufacturing environment.
• APICS CPIM certification.
• CIPS Level 4 qualification.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Experience supporting continuous improvement or change management initiatives.

Why Join Us?

In this role, you'll gain practical experience managing end-to-end supply planning activities while working in a world-class manufacturing environment. You'll have the opportunity to:

• Develop expertise in SAP PP/MM, MRP, and finite production scheduling.
• Work closely with Manufacturing, Procurement, Quality, and Customer Service teams.
• Build valuable experience within the pharmaceutical and life sciences industry.
• Contribute to products that improve health and support scientific discovery worldwide.
• Grow your career within a global organisation, with the potential for a permanent opportunity based on business needs and performance.
