Missing the event means taking the place of another motivated student.</p><p></p><p><span class="emphasis-3"><b>About the Internship – Transportation Performance Analytics</b></span></p><p>Transportation Service Providers (TSPs) are essential to ensuring reliable, efficient, and compliant global logistics operations. Today, performance data is scattered across different reports and systems, making it difficult to consistently monitor and evaluate carrier performance.<br />This internship offers the unique opportunity to help the Global Transportation Excellence team design and build a <b>centralized performance dashboard</b> to improve visibility, support decision-making, and strengthen logistics operations.</p><p></p><p><b><u>Your Assignment</u></b></p><p>Over 8–10 weeks, you will contribute to a strategic transportation performance initiative:</p><ul><li>Conduct a <b>current-state assessment</b> of how TSP performance is tracked</li><li>Develop a <b>standardized KPI framework and definitions</b></li><li>Map <b>data sources</b> and create a unified reporting structure</li><li>Build a <b>centralized TSP performance dashboard prototype</b></li><li>Deliver a <b>final presentation</b> summarizing your insights and recommendations<br /> </li></ul><p>This project allows you to engage in meaningful supply chain analytics while gaining exposure to global logistics operations.</p><p></p><p><span class="emphasis-3"><b>What You Will Learn</b></span></p><p>Throughout the assignment, you will gain hands-on experience with:</p><ul><li>Global transportation and logistics operations</li><li>Supply chain performance management</li><li>Data analytics and visualization (Excel, Power BI, etc.)</li><li>KPI development and reporting</li><li>Cross-functional collaboration within a global organization<br /> </li></ul><p><b>Skills & Competencies Required</b></p><p>We are looking for a student with:</p><ul><li>Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills</li><li>Proficiency in Excel</li><li>Basic knowledge of Power BI or other data visualization tools</li><li>Ability to structure and interpret data</li><li>Clear communication and presentation skills<br /> </li></ul><p><span class="emphasis-3"><b>Preferred fields of study: </b></span>Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, Operations Management</p><p></p><p><span class="emphasis-3"><b>🎓 Internship Details</b></span></p><ul><li><b>Final-year research internship</b></li><li><b>Duration:</b> 8–10 weeks</li><li><b>Start:</b> September</li></ul><p></p><p><b>🎟️<span class="emphasis-3"> About the Open Day – Important Information</span></b></p><ul><li>There are <b>limited spots</b> available for the event.</li><li>Hiring managers will <b>personally select</b> which students may attend.</li><li>Selected students will receive confirmation during the <b>week of 6 April</b>.</li><li>If you accept a spot, <b>you must attend</b> — otherwise, you may block an opportunity for another student who truly wants it.</li><li>This internship will be <b>one of four projects presented and discussed</b> during the Open Day.</li></ul><p></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p>.
