You will have access to:</p><ul><li><p>Career development with an international company where you can grow the career you dream of.</p></li><li><p>A company recognized as a great place to work in dozens of countries around the world and named one of the most admired companies in the world by Fortune.</p></li><li><p>A company that is recognized as one of the best big companies to work for as well as a best place to work for diversity, working mothers, female executives, and scientists.</p></li></ul></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div><p></p><p><b>ROLES &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES</b></p><p><b>Scope of the Role </b></p><ul><li>Responsible for logistics matters on all products imported into Vietnam and Cambodia (&lt;2%) markets</li><li>SME for Custom &amp; Trade compliance</li><li>Responsible for Instrument and Spare Parts planning in collaboration with Commercial and Service team</li><li>Collaborate with commercial team to work out the demand requirement for reagent, consumable, cals &amp; control and coordinate with Supply Planner for the require inventory</li><li>In collaboration with regulatory, navigate challenging regulatory environment around import and customs approvals</li><li>Drive cost savings initiatives related to supply chain including and not limited to freight cost and network optimization</li></ul><p><b>Core Job Responsibilities:</b></p><p><i>Logistics, Importation and custom &amp; trade</i></p><ul><li>Manage 3rd party vendor on warehousing, transportation and logistics operation</li><li>Manage with custom broker on all inbound logistics including HS coding</li><li>Collaborate with Source Distribution Center or affiliate Distribution Center to ensure inbound shipment and outbound orders are timely process per agreed service level agreement</li><li>Collaborate with Singapore Zuellig on labeling requirement for Spare Parts</li><li>Ensure on-time arrival of shipments, smooth customs declaration and goods to be saleable in a timely manner</li><li>Collaborate with distributor or stakeholder to ensure timely disposal of stock and idle instrument</li><li>Coordinate with QC/QA to improve packaging quality, shipping quality. File and monitor claims with shippers/insurance for damaged goods</li><li>Coordinate and monitor product recall</li><li>Optimize end to end supply chain from source to sub-distributor</li><li>Review and initiate cost saving or process improvement to achieve GMI target</li><li>Manage and review miscellaneous expenses and claim: domestics transport, obsolete stock, importation fee, tax variance</li></ul><p></p><p><i>Capital Asset and Contract Management</i></p><ul><li>Manage instrument forecast and demand in collaboration with Commercial Operations</li><li>Drive importation process to ensure timely delivery of instruments and parts, particularly managing importation and regulatory issues</li><li>Manage instrument inventory to optimize cost and utilization</li><li>Monitor sub-distributor contracts to minimize risk to instrument ownership</li></ul><p></p><p><i>Demand planning &amp; Inventory control:</i></p><ul><li>Coordinate with service team to manage end to end demand/supply planning for spare parts</li><li>Coordinate with commercial, marketing and finance to work out and align on demand forecast for reagent to meet To-market-sales</li><li>Coordinate and share the demand forecast to Supply planning</li><li>Calculate and minimize the write off risk of slow moving &amp; short shelf life stock by liaising with related stakeholders: distributors and/or marketing and/or commercials</li><li>Ensure high level of forecast accuracy on reagents and instruments</li></ul><p></p><p><i>Regulatory:</i></p><ul><li>Keep track on product list, license, and regulatory requirements.</li><li>Analyze risk and impact from regulations update, quality issue or supply issues, propose and execute mitigation plans</li></ul><p></p><p><i>Cost Saving and Gross Margin Improvement (GMI)</i></p><ul><li>Review and initiate cost saving or process improvement project to achieve GMI target</li><li>Manage and review miscellaneous expenses and claim: domestics transport, obsolete stock, importation fee, tax variance</li></ul><p></p><p><i>Commercial Collaboration and Delivery:</i></p><ul><li>Monitor new products launching, promotional items and products transition or   discontinuation plans (phase-in/phase-out)</li><li>Highlight capacity, backlog issues and evaluate business impact and ensure mitigation plans are in place</li><li>Ensure customer service as per specified in the contract are met, solving problems quickly, making customer’s issue a priority</li><li>Handle &amp; find root cause and solutions for customers’ complaints related to supply chain and delivery service in NPS system</li><li>Represent Supply Chain SME and collaborate with Comm’l on tender requirement</li></ul><p></p><p><i>Operational Excellence:</i></p><ul><li>Collaborate with Commercial and 3rd party to establish clear KPIs (DOH, OTIF, distress and forecast accuracy etc) and apply them in collaboration with Commercial operations</li><li>Provide basic process training for distributors</li><li>Respond to common inquiries from distributors &amp; customers</li><li>Advise distributors on various matters: packing, storage &amp; shipping condition, documents for tender submission, quality issues</li></ul><p><b>MINIMUM BACKGROUND/ EXPERIENCE REQUIRED</b></p><p></p><p><b>Qualifications/Experience:</b></p><ul><li>Minimum 8 years of Supply Chain or Logistics experience in Demand/Supply Planning or Logistics with 2 years people management in medical device; healthcare; pharma or Diagnostics (preferred) industry</li><li>Experience in custom &amp; trade with knowledge of HS coding</li><li>Experience in warehouse management (in-house or 3PL)</li><li>Solid understanding of inventory management practices and procedures.</li><li>Strong statistical &amp; analytical knowledge</li><li>Proficiency and strong in using excel spreadsheet</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Capable to multi-tasking and meeting strict deadlines</li></ul><p><b>Competencies (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities &amp; Personal Characteristics):</b></p><ul><li>Personal Characteristics include:  Results driven; confident; passionate; demanding; comfort with taking measured risks; transparent; persistent; team player; fair; approachable; good listener; resilient; calm in a crisis; emotionally intelligent; composed.  Respectful, instills confidence in others, motivating, energetic, seeks feedback.</li><li>Abilities include: Critical thinking; manage complexity; problem solving; analytical; creative.
