The Supply Chain Lead DPS Development Services is accountable for consistent and flawless supply chain execution at the site level. On that purpose, the person is translating customers’ demand into executable schedules for which material, asset and resources are available and develops and sets practices in alignment with the Lonza global supply chain. The role is also responsible for operational buying of materials and warehouse/ logistics operations.

What you will do:
SC Team management including optimal resource's allocation, hiring, gap analysis and talent development
Flawless coordination of site planning alignment (from demand to execution)
Ensuring through the warehouse/ logistics team that the movement of material across the site and distribution of products to the customers is conducted
All medium- and short- term planning processes to ensure fully integrated asset capacity planning, labor planning and material planning (monthly S&OP, weekly operations planning and daily tier process)
Lead the local monthly S&OP meeting, provide a monthly forecast of all site-based deliverables, supports Finance/Controlling/Program Management financial outlook for the site as agreed at the meeting and submit to Platform Planner
Robust sourcing information operational buying activities
Oversee Inventory Management and Materials Flows
Accountable for Planning and Material Master Data and as well SAP Blueprint implementation, execution and certification
Degree or equivalent experience in Life Sciences with solid knowledge in APICS CPIM professional standards
Over 10 years of work experience in
a) Laboratory Planning and execution – in a testing or development lab and
b) Supply Chain / Logistics - in a manufacturing organization
Strong SAP background with skills in financial, scheduling and materials planning is a must (Planview background an additional benefit)
Very strong leadership skills with a proven ability to motivate and manage teams not only in a traditional hierarchical organizational structure and but also enable teams in a matrix structure
Demonstrates the courage and integrity to engage in difficult conversations with internal teams and management when needed, fostering transparency, growth, and collaboration
Ability to build a highly collaborative and inclusive environment necessary for a team to be effective
Strong communication and presentation skills, ability to present ideas in a clear and concise manner
Fluent in English, German is a strong asset
