Position Summary
Typical working hours are Monday-Friday 8 AM- 5 PM
This position is 100% on-site in Winchester, Kentucky.
Catalent’s Winchester location is the flagship US manufacturing location for large scale oral dose forms, with integrated analytical and development services. With 28 years of expertise in product development, technology transfers and commercial manufacturing, and roots in industry-leading Glatt technology.
The Supply Chain Excellence facilitates a cross-functional process that helps deliver the Continuous Improvement agenda for Catalent Winchester Supply Chain and related functions. The SC Excellence works closely with multi-functional teams to plan revenue, capacity output, created and maintain KPIs as well as working on continuous improvement projects
The Role
Provide process leadership and analytical support for the Sales and Operations Planning process
Ownership of monthly and quarterly demand tracking process
Highlight areas of plan execution risk to leadership as it relates to: Backlog / shipment / forecast data and Capacity / resource risks.
Assist in monthly S&OP process to include demand and capacity planning
Value Chain mapping, identify constraints, initiate remediation initiatives
Create and maintain dashboards that track demand and service related KPIs including but not limited to OTD, backlog, customer temperature, Inventory , Capacity and forecast accuracy.
Develop and evaluate all forecasts based on statistical modeling and marketing strategies
Drive process improvements, including process controls and tools that enhance cross-functional communication/data flow as it relates to S&OP. Digitize and automate processes in various areas of Supply Chain including use of AI to enhance productivity and save costs
Utilize analytical reporting skills to be able to prepare and present reports, charts, and tables detailing market factors for presentation in various meetings
Understand S&OP best practices. Review and improve S&OP processes to ensure they incorporate best practices and meet business needs
Other duties as required in support of Catalent Pharma Solutions high performance
The Candidate
Bachelor’s Degree Required preferably in Engineering with 2+ years experience in Supply Chain planning or related skills
Advanced Microsoft suite , Power BI , usage of AI
APICS CPIM Certification preferred
Six Sigma green belt or lean experience preferred
Experience with Material Requirements Planning preferred. Experience with Sales and Operations Planning preferred
Individual may be required to sit for an extended period of time. Specific vision requirements include reading of written documents and frequent use of computer monitor
