The role includes overseeing activities for Americas Inventory, supporting Global Process Owner, Local Finance Teams, Baxter GBS Costa Rica workstreams, and A2R teams in other locations. The goal is to improve the operations in Inventory Department, specifically focusing on Americas' inventory transactions by identifying and facilitating operational changes and process improvement initiatives.

Oversight of the Inventory Accounting team on month-end close activities and monthly reviews. Work closely with other A2R teams to ensure a timely month-end-close.
Review and approve inventory-related reconciliations, entries, and tasks in Blackline as needed. Drive process improvement opportunities across the team.
Champion and maintain positive teamwork with finance and non-finance teams, as well as external providers, to uphold and improve shared processes, tools, and reporting activities.
Ensure adherence to company's policies and procedures, internal and external audit requirements and local rules and regulations; support strengthening of financial processes and controls.
Build and handle high-performing teams with focus on engagement and talent development. Support local, regional, and global projects, as the need arises; provide financial expertise in such projects.
Conduct regular meetings' cadence with inventory leadership team to review performance, provide/acquire feedback, and assist in the inventory transactional operations.
Raise process issues to respective parties in a timely and structured manner. Ensure all department services provided are in compliance with service level agreements, S-Ox, and Corporate Policies.
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business administration a requirement.
5+ years of experience in manufacturing and/or inventory accounting and related areas and leading teams to results.
2+ years of experience leading accounting teams
Experience with process focus, continuous improvement, and Microsoft Office Suite.
English B2+ or higher.
Experience in manufacturing and/or inventory accounting and JDE, GME, PRMS, MAXIMO knowledge are desirable.
