Actively participate in capacity meetings, providing information and solutions for resource optimization.
Lead the identification, development, and implementation of continuous improvement projects in manufacturing processes to optimize efficiency, quality, and cost.
Monitor, analyze, and ensure compliance with key plant metrics, including (but not limited to): scrap, adherence, efficiency, excellence cell, 6S, safety, absenteeism, and turnover, taking corrective actions when necessary.
Audit and ensure the accuracy and updating of metric records on production lines.
Collaborate with and guide Line Supervisors in the daily review of manufacturing metric compliance, identifying deviations and action plans.
Lead and participate in the generation and implementation of improvements derived from customer complaint investigations in their area.
Ensure that machinery inspections are up-to-date and carried out according to established procedures.
Ensure the strict application and compliance with internal company rules and policies by all personnel under their charge. (Emphasizes responsibility for the team).
Perform special tasks and projects assigned by their immediate supervisor, contributing to the overall objectives of the department.
Actively support and promote the training strategy and activities for the development of High-Performance Teams (HPTs).
Ensure that new hires, promotions, special assignments, and lateral movements receive and complete the necessary regulatory and quality training before starting new tasks.
Foster and strengthen the culture of TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) through the promotion of training and active participation in activities designed for the system's development and maturity.
Supervise, guide, and follow up on the performance of employees under their responsibility, ensuring compliance with plant policies and procedures.
Demonstrate flexibility and commitment to finding, developing, and sharing innovative solutions and best practices within the team and the organization.
Ensure that new hires, promotions, special assignments, and lateral movements receive and complete the necessary regulatory and quality training before starting new tasks, following up on their training curve to ensure optimal integration and performance.
Verify and ensure that all employees under their charge understand and apply emergency procedures and hazard reporting procedures.
Ensure that personnel under their charge know and apply the specific EHS procedures and policies for their area, including PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) requirements and emergency response procedures.
Communicate, implement, and monitor EHS activities in support of the objectives and goals of the annual EHS plan.
Qualifications
4-8 years of experience, preferred
Bachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
Yellow/Green Belt certification preferred
Lean Certification preferred
English: Intermediate, required
