The Data & Analytics Function oversees the analytics life-cycle in order to identify, analyze and present relevant insights that drive business decisions and anticipate opportunities to achieve a competitive advantage. This function manages analytic data platforms, the access, design and implementation of reporting/business intelligence solutions, and the application of advanced quantitative modeling.
Supervisor for a Data Platform team bridging Operations and Cloud Engineering serves as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) who ensures the stability, reliability, and scalability of internal data products. They act as the primary interface between development, engineering, and business stakeholders to manage incident response and drive operational excellence.
Qualifications

Key Professional & Technical Skills:
Cloud Platforms: Proficiency in AWS, Azure, or GCP administration, including compute, networking (VPC, DNS, TCP/IP), and storage services.
Data Technologies: Strong understanding of unified data platforms (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake) and big data frameworks like Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka.
Programming & Scripting: Advanced skills in Python, Java, or Bash for automating routine operational tasks and building support utilities.
Database Management: Deep expertise in SQL and managing relational (MySQL, PostgreSQL) or NoSQL systems.
DevOps & Automation: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and monitoring/observability tools like Splunk or Airflow.
